"Q" was lying dead in the pavilion and the Breen who gives out the Daily Race was missing.
Had to change instances to get my race in.
Anyone else experience that?

I'm using Crimson AMD drivers ver 15.30.1025.15117a-296575c (I think it's 1st realise) with an ASUS HD7950... and exept the driver bug, which is affecting everything but easily fixe with profiles, I have no "major" trouble with STO.
Can you explain what is your trouble with those Crimson drivers & STO ? thx

Yes. Klingons can beam onto ESD, and once there, can't do anything, including beam out. It's the roach hotel of STO. "Klingons beam in, but they can't beam out."
(You can escape by talking to Q, since he doesn't have to follow the rules.)

When my Klingon toon beamed down to ESD I thought it was an in-game function or some sort of Christmas present / event.
Hopefully the patch will give Starfleet Security more hit points and the bartender a gun as he had no way of defending himself. Also: my turret, mines, and bomb weren't functioning. This needs to be fixed. Orbital strike was working fine though.
I'm a fed myself but found this hilarious. I missed the real thing but the screenies and movies are just great. Wouldn't it be a great idea - as proof of Q's twisted sense of humor - that when beaming out of QWW you can at random end up in one of four places: one of the factions HQ's or in the vacuum of space...

Guess its a good thing Im going to see Star Wars this morning. I would like to see my KDF lady on ESD for a selfie but I do not know how to do anything like an exploit. Hope this fixes some of the loading time issues as well. DS9 and ESD. Anyways a fix is always good, Thanks everyone.
Eh, the game throws you outside the Sol system, and pops up the "Enter System?" button. It's an exploit that the game goes out of its way to show you, and doesn't help you at all.

Yes it's some other exploit that might be fixed with that patch... no idea how some could do that but easily evade by just switching instance... as long as we dont have massive troll doing it on all instance same time it's quite harmless.
Reason why this is happening is quite simple, base game rules are alowing us EVERYTHING but criptic has put so much restrictions over the time to nearly everything that when it glitch this is what we get like kdf geting stuck on ESD, etc... and most obvious result is the insane lag we have everywhere.
Game would be lot more fun if we were alowed to do cross faction stuff like beaming on ESD but being chased by any willing FED or being knockout by random security officer then beam back to ship. for sure there will be trolling team but with the way instance are handled it's quite simple to avoid them or even take them back.
The game alow it why put so many restriction that end up glitching everything and hamer us with insane lag ?

Nice pics THEMARTIAN. I never got to experience what you all did, being i cannot even enter ESD without crashing, thats happened ever since they revamped spacedock. The video looks hilarious, it would have been nice to have that during the winter event since they would do server stabilities every other day anyway. But oh well...
452MB patch, I'd say they did more than just fix the ESD bug, wonder what got nerfed now.

Okay, this whole klinks on ESD happens literally Every year, once a year, because it happens, then they patch it, and next year it'll come round, happen again, then they'll patch it, rinse and repeat for literally every year of this game...
At this point...why bother patching it, the war's over, shouldn't we have klingon diplomats from the Alliance at least...
Nah, i'm sure they'll just use space hippie proxys...Makes me wish Tket had fried New Romulus even more...And no, blood of the anchients is NOT enough burnt romulus for me...the planet needs to be an uninbabitable rock with no atmosphere...And then they need to release a virulent virus that kills every eppoh everywhere...then the eppoh chick in Q's wonderland can shut up and grab a real profession...beagle groomer, or vet, or something...i just really hate eppohs...And non canonical Romulan space hippies like D'tan...that guy has to be on somthing to be that calm all the time...

Make ESD and other "homeworld" location open PvP arenas? But maybe with some rewards, maybe hourly box of marks per choice depending on how many intruders you helped defeat? And put Exchange, bank and whatever ficus-player installations are necessary on players' ship bridges so that people who only come into game ONLY to try and exploit or manipulate exchange prices can have a place to do it in peace. Or KDF assault team comming to ESD to take out all the exhange fixtures that take space in an instance? That would be a nice addition of reality to STO :-)
Sure but no need for rewards, just like on Qay'gun or Ker'rat (ground/space warzones), we dont need greedy players to insult others for not participating in that (just passing by). A simple way could be to alow only 1-2 teams per instance so FED can eventualy boot them out without too much efforts, and maybe prevent KDF from beaming in alone, after all we're proud & courageous Klinks, not suicidal
