List of Gameplay/Graphics Bugs/Issues I've Noticed in STO

I've been keeping track of a lot of these various bugs/issues/oversights for a while now and I feel I've collected enough that putting them into a list would be beneficial to all. Surprisingly, the majority of these issues affect either the KDF or Romulan factions and their ships. Depending on what else I notice, I will add to this list as time goes on, and remove the items listed below once they have been resolved. So without further ado, here is the list of those things I've noticed while playing Star Trek Online:

GRAPHICS ISSUES/SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT
  • Romulan Command Warbirds have only one window option. I'm not sure why this is, and I doubt adding the other windows available to Romulan ships would be difficult.
  • Klingon Command Battlecruisers have only one window option. I'm not sure why this is, and I doubt adding the other windows available to Klingon ships would be difficult.
  • T5/T6 C-Store ships that have no Fleet-level equivalent (Multi-Mission Science Vessels, Faction Flagships, Pilot Escorts/Raptors/Warbirds, Command Battlecruisers/Warbirds, T6 Faction Flagships) are unable to use any of the "Fleet" hull materials. Since these ships are technically already Fleet-level at purchase, it would make sense for them to have access to these hull materials.
  • The Krenim Science Vessel has only one window option available to it. This seems odd, as its sister ship, the Krenim Imperium Warship, has like 4 different window options to pick from.

GRAPHICS/ANIMATIONS BUGS
  • When using the Klinzhai nacelles on any Klingon Command Battlecruiser variant, the ships' windows disappear.
  • The type 4 hull material (black and gray hull) is missing from the new T6 Bortasqu' Flagships.
  • When using the type 4 hull material on the Negh'tev/Fleet Negh'var [T6], all pattern/color customization options become locked and cannot be used.
  • The windows on the Faeht/Fleet Faeht Intel Warbirds are unable to be changed, despite there being a full list of window options in the ship tailor.
  • On all variants of the B'rel Bird-of-Prey and Qin-type Raptors, changing the ships' windows in the ship tailor only changes the windows on the main body/hull of the ship, while the windows on the "heads" of these ships stay the same as whatever the model's default option is.
  • The Kar'fi/Fleet Kar'fi Battle Carriers do not fully render when viewed by other players. This is very much like the issue Breen ships had that was recently fixed. EDIT: The issue still isn't fully remedied, as Breen Hangar Pets still don't fully render.
  • After coming out of cloak on ships with Enhanced Battle Cloak, the impulse trails disappear until you either change zones, change characters, leave the current map, or close and restart the game.
  • The B'rotlh Bird-of-Prey outfit is unavailable to the Kor Bird-of-Prey/Fleet B'rel Bird-of-Prey (T5 and T6), despite being advertised as usable on these ships in blogs.
  • On all variants of the Avenger/Arbiter Battlecruisers, the armor plating that appears in combat on the left nacelle is hovering above the nacelle instead of actually being on it.
  • When warping out on Starfleet characters, the warp trail appears green instead of blue. This bug appears at random, and has been around since Season 10's launch back in Spring of 2015.
  • The Krenim Science Vessel from the 6 Year Anniversary Event cannot equip the consoles from the Zahl Heavy Cruiser or Krenim Warship, despite being listed as usable on any Krenim vessel.
  • On Qo'noS and many other Klingon planets, there are a number of braziers floating in mid-air, with the fire coming out of their bottoms instead of their tops.
  • The Elite Fleet Disruptor Dual Pistols from the KDF Fleet Ground Supplies vendor are actually dual Sniper Rifles, not pistols. This bug has been around for over a year now with no attention and no fix.
  • The Kobali Polaron Split Beam Rifle changes its look at random, switching between its intended appearance and that of a standard Polaron Rifle. This was supposed to have been fixed a while ago, but it doesn't seem like the issue is gone.
  • When changing characters on the character selection screen, three issues pop up, sometimes with multiple occurring at once. Either the color of your characters' ships' names are the wrong color, the emblem behind your characters' ships' names is of the wrong faction, or the glowing aura behind your character is the wrong color. For example, on a Fed character you'd get the KDF emblem instead of the UFP and a green aura instead of blue.
  • When wearing the Herald Heavy Armor helmet on any character, the helmet and your head by extension fails to fully render if your camera view is too far away from your body. The same occurs for other people viewing your character from a distance.
  • When beaming out of an area as a Federation-aligned Romulan, your character will often hit an invisible comm badge on their chest to initiate the beam-out instead of tapping their wrist like they should.

GAMEPLAY BUGS/ISSUES
  • The kit recharge time bonus from the Quick Draw skills in the Commando specialization tree do not properly apply to Command and Intel kit modules.
  • Since the sector space revamp in early 2015, DOff assignments that were tied to specific sector blocks are now extremely hard, sometimes impossible, to locate. This is especially true of chain assignments like "Ghosts of the Jem'hadar", "Project Chrysalis", and others.
  • The explosion created by the Unstable Anomalies Starship Trait does not appear to completely bypass shields as it states in the tooltip.

    OMG! I can't stand the floating braziers.... It's not just on Qo'nos. Every single Klingon zone has this issue if they have the same asset in them. I thought it was just me, and I was about to reinstall until I read this post.

    So, I'm going to bump this thread, seeing as none of the issues I've mentioned in this post have actually been addressed, much less fixed. There are also a whole bunch of new issues that have popped up since I made this thread, almost too many to add.
