I'd be thrilled if I actually liked it, or fancied my chances (and I'm not looney enough to trust my chances from boxes), and as far as liking goes, it looks like something that spawned from an alcohol-driven freemason...don't like that ship at all.

What the heck are you on about, I have 15 characters and ALL of them have every event ship unlocked except the current Breen Dread, cause I'm still working on it. 4 of my characters were created after the most recent summer event and the account unlock worked perfectly for all 8 of the previous ships.
A lot of people have been experiencing a bug with the account-wide unlock system for claiming unlocked ships. Been that way for a while.
you wont be disappointed. i set mine up with epic aegis shields, engine, deflector, cannons and beams. added a council o help the turn rate. now she really cooks and packs a good bite

Maybe it looks cheaper for one ship, but T6 bundles are account unlock (all Zen store ships are) and all Lockbox/R&D boxes and Lobi store ships are just single ship for one toon (heck, if you discard it you must buy new one from start!)
... now i got 16 toons on my account, so going for Zen ships is just more efficient (all account unlocks are more efficient for me )
