non Trek ships

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Already know this is never going to happen, ever, obviously because of licensing issues. However, in a hypothetical world where licensing issues wouldn't stand in the way of ships from other shows (or films) appearing in STO, what ship (or ships) would you throw into the mix? This question goes out to gamer and dev alike. Feel free to compile those hypothetical stats, cost and special abilities too.. :smile:

Throw in an Aurora Class Ancient Warship with a full compliment of Drones and a Wraith Hive with a hanger bay (x4) of Darts for me please.

    X-Wing Fighters as shuttles, and maybe a Star Destroyer as a VERY, VERY large Cruiser.

    Well, it's not perfect, but I always thought the Tal Shiar Adapted Battlecruiser looked a bit like a "borg-ified" Glorious Heritage Class ship. Particularly with certain Rep sets and hull patterns on it. It's hard to get the blue hue of the Andromeda and impossible to get the gold hue of the Pax Magellanic, but you can make it look like the Crimson Sunrise pretty easily. But then again perhaps I'm just stretching my imagination because I want to see it. :) For, as my forum avatar probably gives away, being a fan of Gene Roddenberry's other space opera nearly as much as I am of Star Trek I might be a bit biased. o:)

    And all the other warships from Star Wars. For the simple fact that the license holders of Star Wars nor their game developers continuously refuse to make warships a front and center aspect of the IP's gaming.

      As corny as it was that movie did have some cool ship designs. In case people are wondering about the name.... It's a combat maneuver used by the good guys at the end. Do a precisely calculated hyperspace jump so that when you exit hyperspace you crash into the enemy... typically used with computer control of an unmanned vessel.
