will the [over] mod activation for beam arrays
1. proc the chance for BOL to cause all attacks to gain 35% shield penetration, (energy weapons officer dheejyn)
2. proc the overwhelming force trait?
I have no idea, but the [over] triggers as far as I know a full version of BO I, evenc ausing beam abilities to be disabled momentarily. So I'd assume it does but I never tried. I'd recommend buying [over] beams in mk ii from the exchange (shouldn't be expensive), slap six or eight on a ship with the trait and just fire away. It shouldn't take too long to find out.
EDIT: speaking of which, I'm toying with the trait right now as well due to the Mah'ta giveaway. Does it do anything else but trigger a CPB on BO? Because that's a skill I usually don't find that useful to begin with, it disables cloak. When you already see and fire on a target. Or do I miss something?

more interested in the doff proc. 35% shield pen is a very good thing
That puts things into perspective. I assume it's some very rare very expensive doff?

1. Not tried, but I've heard that it does.
2. Yes. Do note that the Trait seems to have an internal lockout of about 5 seconds if you manage to chain-proc [over] so you only get a burst once every 5-ish seconds max. (the Torp side has one too, and is proc'd by Concentrate Firepower).
If you want to try the Trait fairly cheaply if you don't have a Mat'ha already, there's a cross-faction Trait box with it stuffed in that should be fairly cheap for Feds (at least compared to the KDF and Rom boxes which have Reciprocity) on the exchange. I use the Trait most on my Andromeda Galaxy, since I use several [over] beams to fill in gaps between FAWs with having no real cooldown enhancers on that char.
Yes to both. Multiple [Over] beams can do some nasty things at the end of a FaW cycle You'll see multiple procs, but the funny part starts around 1:58. Don't mind my power levels
i did try testing out [over] weapons with the heavy escort carrier star ship trait for overloading hagnger pets but it dosnt work as the proc is effectively a beam overload but is not an actual one

Yea, that one was specifically changed because..... reasons.
Another thing to note on the [Over] is that the proc doesn't necessarily overload the beam that proc'd it, instead firing on the next beam in the cycle. Leads to things like Reputation beams firing off the overloads.

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.

They could give hangar pets spammable BO3 and they still wouldn't be overpowered. Mainly because they only show up after the fight is over.
HOW! just HOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you get them levels of power?????
Leech + Flow + EPS (although I didn't have much EPS at the time of this vid.)

I don't feel like I learned anything.
The multitude of Over procs after FaW ends. Start at 1:57 and you'll see it around the 2min mark for the best example.
Also, plasma explosions are OP.
