Whenever my ship goes to full impulse, the frigate hangar pets lag behind. When combining frigates and peregrines, the peregrines eventually catch up. The frigates however, do not.
They don't go to full impulse when the carrier does.
Dont know whats wrong with their Scripts but something must be quite wrong... In generell they have big movement issues and dont really follow carrier commands which makes them quite useless
Agree. Most all the frigates are broken it seems. I doubt they will be fixed..the dev's do not seem to care about the forum bug reporting or any bug reporting for that matter anymore.
They also have issues with docking. Just tried to dock em between battle areas to actualy carry them there, in the end i'm a carrier
But they need 2-4 minutes to dock, it's just horrible.
I noticed that the pets were about 10km away once and then just "vanished from space and were docked" somehow (didn't set movement to 0 - silly me thougt pets may fly up and dock then).
Docking in generall is horrible - they need to adjust a lot here. In most cases it's easier to let the pet die and relaunch...
You can sort of get pets to scout ahead you just need a target lock on something, like locking a enemy as target up to like 20 km I think and activating the attack command will send them off towards the enemy, or have them escort an ally if one is ahead of you they will fly off and do your bidding.
