I am unsure if this is the best forum for this, but I have been working on creating the perfect grenade tactical kit. However, recently I have run into some issues. Namely, I recently acquired a kit module from a fleet vendor, specifically an Ultra Rare Assault Kit Module - Plasma Grenade MK XII. However, the module does not seem to be compatible with any slots in my kit. My kit is a Very Rare Tactical Kit MK XIII [Grenade] [Shield] [Weapon].
Also, do you have any suggestions on how I can perfect this kit? Which modules or kits should I acquire/replace to create the perfect tactical grenade, shield and weapon kit?

With the shared cooldowns, I've only found it effective to run two grenades in a kit. More than that and you have grenades sitting idle unable to be used. I usually mix in buffs and lockbox modules, currently running with Gravimetric Trap (Herald Lockbox) and Polaron Bombardment (Vaadwaur? Lockbox).
[Grenade] [Shield] [Weapon] are Skill modifiers, if you want a kit with ability to actually heal your shields, look into the Fleet Krenim cross-ability kits, as one has the normally Engineering only shield healing ability built in.
So beam down somewhere nice, and try to slot the module, if no joy empty the kit frame and then try, if still not happening try a a spare/super cheap frame that has a strategic slot, if that this stage the module won't go into any frame then its a bug or some user error.
My frame has four Assault Module slots and one Strategic Module slot. To the Assault Module slots I added a MK XII Photon Grenade, Cryo Grenade and MKIII Smoke Grenade. However, I tried removing the Cryo Grenade and it appears the MK XII Plasma Grenade can now be slotted, although I would have preferred to use both.
