Fleet B'rel BoP [T6] Cannot Use B'rotlh BoP skin!

Title says it all. I went to put the B'rotlh skin on my T6 Fleet B'rel and it didn't pop up as one of the options for the ship, even though I own the B'rotlh. This has to be a bug, as the blog posts specifically said the ship could use this skin.

Please fix it soon! Thanks!

    Actually, the plain T6 BoP also cannot use the B'rotlh skin. I hope this gets fixed soon, seeing as how it was advertised clearly on the main page as:

    "The Kor Class comes with its own unique costume. In addition it can use the B’rel and Koloth costumes for free, and it can use the B’Rotlh costume if that starship is owned."

    Yeah I had been telling them for years about this issue with the fleet b'rel but they just ignored it. They want you to just shut up and give them yer money lol. Is why even though I am a big kdf player or was I am not buying this garbage.

    I tried to see if the B'Rotlh skin can be used on the T6 Kor straight out of the C-Store but I can't. FYI, this problem existed with the old T5 / T5U Fleet B'Rel. The regular C-Store B'Rel was able to use the B'Rotlh skin.

    Yeah, looks like you're right. It's been a problem for quite some time. Well, here's hoping that since it was advertised, we can at least get a quicker resolution.

    All of my reports on the Fleet B'Rel were ignored, for years. Maybe this time will be different?

    C-store B'Rel can use the B'Rotlh skin.
    Fleet B'Rel cannot use the B'Rotlh skin.
    C-store Kor cannot use the B'Rotlh skin.
    Fleet Kor cannot use the B'Rotlh skin.

    They advertised it'd work, and it doesn't. Also, I'm getting tired of typing B'Rotlh as I keep having to correct after typing Brothel.

    Haha, perhaps that's the problem! All other ships that aren't the C-Store T5 B'rel are referencing the B'rothel skin! :smile:

    Joking aside, I propose they rename the B'Rotlh to the Kang, seeing as they already have the Koloth and Kor skins. It'll be one big happy reunion. The B'rotlh skin is very well done. It's a shame we can't use it right now.

    I also seem to be having this issue with the t6 kor. I did notice that the b’rotlh has the kor as a costume option.

    I’d like to think it’s being worked on since it’s a problem with their newest ship set. I’ve not seen anything about it on patch notes on tribble though. I wonder if it’s a problem for everybody or just some? I got the b’rotlh after I got the tier 6. I thought that might have something to do with it so I tossed the t6 and got it again and its still not working right.

    So it's been another patch but still no word on getting the B'rotlh skin. Are there any plans to fix this bug?

    I hope so, but I'm starting to doubt it. It seems that annoying graphics/gameplay bugs like this are taking a backseat to adding new content.... :(

    So anyone else figure that by advertising the functionality of the B'Rotlh skin, and then not delivering on that advertising promise, that maybe that was a bit of a deceptive practice on their part?

    They haven't acknowledged the issue as far as I can tell, anyone seen any confirmation that this is a bug and not deceptive advertising?

    It's been around since well before the Kor, so I wouldn't count on it. It's hardly a game-breaker to be fair.

    You're right, it's absolutely not a game breaking bug, but they chose to advertise the blog for the Kor with the B'Rotlh skin specifically mentioned, and then they failed to deliver when the Kor was purchased. So long as people don't make a big deal about this or try to dismiss it, then Cryptic'll ignore it and assume we'll just swallow one more bug while continuing on with this game. Since KDF aren't a majority, we're gonna have to get loud in order for this bug to get enough attention for it to merit a fix. Persistence is going to be key.

    Maybe we'll get a nice Christmas present, a tiny little bugfix so that we have full use of the thing we bought. The thing we bought a month and a half ago.

    You gotta remain hopeful! This is an issue worth addressing by Cryptic, especially since it was an advertised feature of the ship that isn't working properly. For some reason it seems that the only bugs that ever really get immediate attention are the ones affecting something Fed side. KDF and Rom-exclusive bugs get the shaft.... :'(

    I just wish there was a way we wouldn't get ignored, this has been going on for over 2 years now and no resolution in sight.

    Anything they advertise as a feature, but requires bug fixing to correct, as long as it's not Feddie-Bear business, gets stuck in the "It's our word to break if we want to and there's nothing you can do about it" trash bin.

    Some of my Klingon crew dumped some 2309 into the river in protest over this and a few other short ends of the stick that Klingons get. We called it the Boston Blooodwine Party.

    They're too busy making newer KDF ships that can't really be kitbashed to worry about the old KDF ships that can't really be kitbashed
