Borg - Will we ever get a ship to fly?

As the title really, the Borg, one of the federations deadliest adversaries - however now seemingly friends as well - will they share their tech? We got Herald ships from the Iconians, so why not a Borg vessel?

Will it ever happen?

    Depends. It's possible that cryptic could introduce a lock box or (what I'm hoping for) a borg cooperative faction but borg ships do have one built in problem and that's telling which way is forward. Cryptic would need to create new borg designs with a definite front end and that may ultimately kill the "borg-ness" of those borg ships for quite a lot of people.

    So, maybe. We'll probably see a few other things before it becomes a more serious question (ex. more cardassian ships one way or the other) but if you keep your mind open about what a borg ship could be then we may see those playable at some point in STO's lifespan.

    I highly doubt it, the Borg ships are just way to big and awkward. Though I guess they could give us a probe or a smaller version of the Borg Type O3,unless they want to design a cooperative ship from scratch

    Anything up to a diamond is manageable. I think Hugh's ship is pushing it a bit but the only borg ship that's definitely off the table (direction issues aside) is the cube (and I don't think many are seriously expecting that to be playable at any point.)

    I certainly hope not, especially not a cube. If you think 3k crew is bad, just try staying in one piece with a quarter of a million.

    I would love to see EVERYONE get a borg cube and everyone at ESD get together and try to build a big wall with it.

    That and I really would like to apply the Dyson shield visual to the cube. Ultimately, I wouldn't want the cube, I'd take the sphere.
