[PBDmg] personal shield mod consumes ambush.

Is this working as intended? Because some items such as the Kobali Personal Shield you can't ever get again, so getting [PBDmg] mod when you use ambush is very very bad. Expected behavior would be [PBDmg] completely ignoring ambush in both the damage boost and consumption.

    Just to clarify my original post, the Ambush I'm referring to is the kit module for tactical captains that gives +160% or so bonus damage for just one shot. [PBDmg] seems to count for that (even though you never explicitly attacked anyone), making it fairly difficult for ambush to work at all since PBDmg procs very often. There's no reclaim option in the dilithium store for the Kobali Personal Shield to get another one to upgrade nor can you replay the mission to get it again, so if you get that mod, you're screwed as a tactical captain in terms of using that shield.

    Steps to reproduce:
    • Get a tactical captain with ambush kit mod and a shield with [PBDmg].
    • Activate ambush and get shot until [PBDmg] procs with enemies in range.

    At that point ambush goes away prematurely.

    I dare say this is working as intended, Ambush goes off with the first outgoing attack you make, and the shield attacking someone or something will count in that regard.

    I will put a report in about the shield not being reclaimable though, that doesn't sound intentional.

    Thanks for the reply, being able to get another one would definitely help. I'd go for another try at upgrading to get different mods.
