Even after the reboot of the network stuff today its still taking a long time to transfer from orbit to dock at DS9. Last count was 181 seconds. Now that may not seem long but go watch water boil.

DS9 takes FOREVER to load into. You can take a break and post on the forums for a few minutes before DS9 loads you in.
After an hour and a half and only getting to 98.77% loaded I ended up closing the game. Kind of disheartening when there are brand new missions and you can't do them due to extremely long load times
Same here, load times of DS9 are long, regulary stuck at 98.50'ish. Took me 5 minutes and a reboot to get in today. But I am noticing that all spacestations are having a long load time since the new season.
My main captain has been stuck since Tuesday trying to beam onto DS9. It gets to about 98.2, it slowly crawls up to around to 98.10, and then the program stops responding more often than not. I've tried leaving it for a good length of time (up to 1 hour on one try) but it's not progressing past the loading screen. And it's not like I can play other content with that character as they're stuck until I can get past loading onto DS9 to try and go elsewhere in the game.
I can't get in either. Tried playing around with "patch on demand" but nothing helps. Just the same horrible loading time. I let mine sit for about 10 minutes. Then I gave up.
Edit: After trying for hours and submitting a ticket, I decided to try one more time just for the lolz and it loaded in 5 seconds.
Pfew ... thought for a few days I was the only one affected. Same issues here. Game is almost unplayable. Getting to the point of waiting till next patch has passed. Perhaps playing LOTRO who just released Minas Tirith.
Well I'm stuck at 97.54 again... Though I was very lucky once, It loaded in like a few seconds. Now it's back to taking hoooooours.
Edit: It seems to be very random how lucky you are. Sometimes it'll load within seconds. Sometimes it will take 3-5 minutes. Sometimes It'll take hours. I guess maybe it's a traffic issue? If everyone is trying to load DS9 at the same time etc.
Right now I'm trying at the same time of day, 8 out of 10 attempts are uber slow. The rest 2 are either a very quick normal loading time. Or a bit slower, like 3-5 min.
I can confirm that. Before the patch, DS9 would take about 10-15 seconds to load, it would vary depending time of day but never longer than 30 seconds. Now, it takes a minimum of 3 minutes to load. The New Dawn-patch broke something. It's driving me up the walls how slow it is. It'll load to 95% within three seconds and then it'll sit there for 3 minutes before something will happen.

Yes, I am experiencing this effect right now: Stardate: 9201511.01 --or "Nine" 01.NOV.2015--in my pseudo-realistic Star Trek Star Date Nomenclature. STSDN for short.
Yeah I am making all this up and have been doing this since I first started using computers way back in the late 1980's or early 1990's. This was the time when a certain PC Gaming Company by the name of INTERPLAY was making STAR TREK games for computer users. It was Chunky. Meaty. And had LOTS of Gravy for the True Trek Aficionado along with a Cask of Amontillado. Yes. I say that because, just like Fortunato, I too was trapped by these, then, Fantastic Star Trek Games.
And now look at me. No Hands! Please!! Amontillado!!! Cryptic: My MAIN Player Character is stuck in some Limbo of a faulty Transporter Beam accident. TANIS was beaming from her ship to DS9 when an Infinite Loop occurred in the Heisenberg Compenstator Module (Compenstator: an 'upgrade' from the original Heisenberg Compensator Module--the 'Stator being an over-engineered piece of brand new garbage that is prone to constant failure. At our Chief Engineer's direction, the 'Stator is to be removed and replaced with the old, reliable Compensator according to the old Starfleet Spec Sheet written by none other than Engineering Captain Montgomery Scott.).

"This time system [Stardate] adjusts for shifts in relative time which occur due to the vessel's speed and space warp capability. It has little relationship to Earth's time as we know it. One hour aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise at different times may equal as little as three Earth hours. The star dates specified in the log entry must be computed against the speed of the vessel, the space warp, and its position within our galaxy, in order to give a meaningful reading." Therefore star date would be one thing at one point in the galaxy and something else again at another point in the galaxy."
WTF? DS9 still will NOT load. I can't play my main character because I sent her to DS9 to sell off her loot picks from various mission, to keep open space in my inventory.
DEVS! Please take a look at this DS9 issue. I can't play the game.
This keeps happening on and off, I got 5 toons and so far its effects each one. Sometimes right in a row, other times 1 or 2 get right in and the others take a little longer. I just bought a new CyberPower i7 PC, Windows 10 64 bit, SSD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Video card, 16 gb Ram, and a 1gb nic on fiber ISP. I dont think its me.....
Go into your game folder, Star Trek Online/live/localdata and delete the files "fxprefs.pref" and "gameprefs.pref"
This will delete all graphic settings and settings you've set in the game. It will delete the audio and graphic settings. As well as other tiny settings like "auto loot" "enable directional shield FX" etc.
For some reason, deleting these two will load you into DS9 immediately. Worked for me!
Note; after playing the game for some time and restarting it several times. The load issue will return, you will therefor need to repeat the stage of deleting the files, restoring your settings in order to play.
Thanks Kate, I just said goodbye to DS9, The only two reason I go, easy access to everything like bank, mail exchange trader. I may have to try what you posted for I have noticed the assignments the DS9 trader gives have been different then the ones the trader gives in the Ferengi Nandi Warship. Those are the only two I know of?
Until todays (11/5) patch, I had no problem logging into DS-9. After the patch, I can't log into it at all and my main is stuck in the loading screen. I can't seem to get her to load into DS-9 at all. When I restart the game, it says she is on DS-9 and goes to the loading screen for DS-9 then just sits there....I waited 4 minutes twice, then had to minimize and right-click close the game. I will try what @kate370 suggests, but I hope the Devs can track down the bug soon.
Thanks Kate. Most helpful to all of us. Today was a good day at DS9, all my toons got right in. Tomorrow will tell if I'm on something (lol) for I did something different. I parked at the fleet mine and ran each toon to DS9, got the traders assignments and then went right back to the fleet mine, then repeated it with the next toon. I have three feds, a rom and a kdf.
