Just as the title says 
Because I, like many others, (I would suspect) want to have some more ships for the Admiralty System without also buying a bunch of Ship Roster Slots.

Nope, if you dismiss a ship bought with a Free Ship Token from Rank-Up or with Dilithium, it's gone for good and the only way to get a replacement is to pay for it."If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed.
