Any change?

Hi, long time no Star Trek.
I keep coming back every once in a while to check if PvP starts showing any vital signs and to see if community is alive although somewhere else I presume.
For you who still play it, an change on the horizon?

And for subscribers I have from STO PvP days: new, unrelated (well, related only because of Phantom Pain and Famous "It's Not Over Yet" from MGS) video montage from Metal Gear Solid The Phantom pain

    Maybe he simply wants to see if pvp is playable? The fact is the systems would be great if they just bothered to balance and stop the p2w and grind TRIBBLE. In fact this pvp might even be in the top 5 of all mmo's ever if they just made it fair and balanced for all.

    iirc you were saying the game is great and me and the rest are idiots who can't see the true depth of the bs.Well the game is still great ,you will love it.

    aaand.. seeing these comments it's still the same I see, after so many months.
    Funny thing about nostalgia is that it makes things much better then they were in reality.

    Sadly, STO PvP is gone and it's not coming back.

    I never said that. and i uninstalled the game like 8 months ago now.

    I've been to Gamesweek, and I'm soooo terribly hyped and impatient for Rise of the Tomb Raider to come out on Steam. That's going to be the killer game of my entire game library, except STO...

    that one is dead already.
    I need to get to him. I can't just leave him out there alone. - Sometimes you've got to makes sacrifices, Lara. You can't save everyone. - I know about sacrifices. - No, you know about loss. Sacrifice is a choice you make. Loss is a choice made for you. - I can't choose to let him die, Roth.

    lolwhat, it's been weeks since I last actually played it. I'm logging in these days to pick up the giveaway items, not for else. Not even for the company.

    Sounds like love to me. Love is when people do things for each other... Cryptic gives away stuff, cuz love, and you log in and get stuff cuz love. Although, I guess you can argue Cryptic loves you more than you do them.

    And 10 GBs out of 1 TB on an external drive doesn't seem like suicidal. Better than using the internal SSD that's for sure.

    Basically PvP is getting worse and worse. I've now pretty much quit now, since every match is full of sci-ships spamming FBP+TBR with the occasional isokinetic cannon.

    I'm thinking of going purely casual, as that's what this game is meant for. As it is I'll watch out for any new games and have my fingers crossed for Star Citizen.

    may check out world of warships. takes most of my pew-time now, as even bf4 got dull with flirs allaround ;).

    All this tells me you still are faithful to some good old STO trek :). Only you uninstalling is going to convince me otherwise. Thanks!

    I did uninstall for months. Recently I discovered that USB 3 is nearly as fast as the SATA connector of the internal SSD, so I ended up redistributing my Steam library both in the internal drive (where I keep the games I want to run fast and carry with me eventually) and the external one where I hold the mass. STO is one of them.
