EDIT: Shutup Wesley is running a Christmas themed event with amazing rewards for their different competitions, including a screenshot contest of the event itself. If event photography sound like an interesting challenge with the added bonus of maybe getting a ship, consider checking this Christmas themed event out.
Greetings Captains,
Until the end of this month (oct 31st) I will be holding a screenshot and writing contest (you can find the writing contest here)
The theme is Halloween.
Maybe you have seen a scary toon roaming around on a dimly lit station, or can capture something really tense or creepy. Feel free to play with the theme and surprise me.
Rewards:
The two best entries will be awarded a set of Elachi ships:
Anyone that enters the screenshot or writing competition with a valid entry, will also enter the drawing for one random winning of a temporal science bundle:
Participation:
All submissions must be posted before oct 31st 12pm UTC (5pm PST). You may edit and modify your submission up to this time.
Every valid participation requires that your in-game handle is clearly present in your submission (preferably at the beginning or the end of the post). If you forget to post your handle, please edit your submission so it's not missed.
Your submission must be something you've made yourself.
Submit your contest entry as a reply to this post.
Rules:
You are allowed to submit multiple screenshots, but please limit your submissions to what you think are the best screenshots and in a reasonable number of posts.

The abilities and outfits from the new lockbox were almost made for this competition, if you ask me.

Congrats to you too, @dabelgrave. That Prometheus really looks menacing. One of my chars had Fleet Prometheus, but I forgot it could look this good. I'll have to try out again!

I'd also like to give a shoutout to two other favorites, @godo3 for what looks like a Klingon demon, something different than the Fek'Ihri and more how I would've imagined the angry spirit of Molor to look, and also to @claudiusdk, who pulled off a really awesome shot with an angry Devidian. If that shot is "not your best," I can only imagine how awesome your "best" must look. O_O
I was never able to get the shot I envisioned to pan out quite the way I wanted it to (the Devidians never showed up when and where I hoped) but I had fun trying to set it up anyway.

I only took that screenshot a few seconds after I saw the contest, and then uploaded it in a hurry. I was thinking the contest was about to end with the next hour since I got the timezones wrong. Ima Derp ^^
I was guessing everyone was gonna use the dark maps from "What Lies Beneath", so I was aiming for something diffrent.

Like I said, I would never have imagined that shot was done in such a short time, especially to actually get the pose you wanted to appear that quickly. It was great work.
(The Devidians really have some great animations. Have you noticed that the Eidolons die shaking their fists in rage at you?)
