Unofficial Halloween Screenshot Contest

EDIT: Shutup Wesley is running a Christmas themed event with amazing rewards for their different competitions, including a screenshot contest of the event itself. If event photography sound like an interesting challenge with the added bonus of maybe getting a ship, consider checking this Christmas themed event out.

Greetings Captains,

Until the end of this month (oct 31st) I will be holding a screenshot and writing contest (you can find the writing contest here)

The theme is Halloween.

Maybe you have seen a scary toon roaming around on a dimly lit station, or can capture something really tense or creepy. Feel free to play with the theme and surprise me.

Rewards:

The two best entries will be awarded a set of Elachi ships:
Anyone that enters the screenshot or writing competition with a valid entry, will also enter the drawing for one random winning of a temporal science bundle:
Participation:

All submissions must be posted before oct 31st 12pm UTC (5pm PST). You may edit and modify your submission up to this time.

Every valid participation requires that your in-game handle is clearly present in your submission (preferably at the beginning or the end of the post). If you forget to post your handle, please edit your submission so it's not missed.

Your submission must be something you've made yourself.

Submit your contest entry as a reply to this post.

Rules:
  • 1920x1080 resolution or more
  • Only in-game assets and using the game for rendering
  • Modifying the screenshot in an image editor is allowed
  • Valid in-game handle in the submission

You are allowed to submit multiple screenshots, but please limit your submissions to what you think are the best screenshots and in a reasonable number of posts.

I'm looking forward to seeing your submissions!

    Inspired by ENT: "Fight or Flight"

    EDIT: I had extra free time, so I've updated my submission. Hope this isn't a problem o:)

    I re-shot my picture "Showdown in the Unknown" at /renderscale 3 looks much nicer now

    Just noticed the contest, so not my best on such short notice. But honestly I don't care about winning best entries, but I do want a shot at those timeships. XD

    OK, although I think my better work is on the writing side, I have two attempts with some ghostly entities...one a ship, and one on the ground. I have to say, the Herald outfit (modified in my case) is very suited to the Remans.

    Congrats to you too, @dabelgrave. That Prometheus really looks menacing. One of my chars had Fleet Prometheus, but I forgot it could look this good. I'll have to try out again!

    Agreed, @nxenterprise02 did REALLY well with that. That's the kind of thing I wouldn't blame that captain for running screaming from if he saw it. @dabelgrave's was also creepy.

    I'd also like to give a shoutout to two other favorites, @godo3 for what looks like a Klingon demon, something different than the Fek'Ihri and more how I would've imagined the angry spirit of Molor to look, and also to @claudiusdk, who pulled off a really awesome shot with an angry Devidian. If that shot is "not your best," I can only imagine how awesome your "best" must look. O_O

    I was never able to get the shot I envisioned to pan out quite the way I wanted it to (the Devidians never showed up when and where I hoped) but I had fun trying to set it up anyway. :)

    I only took that screenshot a few seconds after I saw the contest, and then uploaded it in a hurry. I was thinking the contest was about to end with the next hour since I got the timezones wrong. Ima Derp ^^
    I was guessing everyone was gonna use the dark maps from "What Lies Beneath", so I was aiming for something diffrent.

    A little late to the celebration, but just wanted to say: Congratulations to all the winners! And thank you for this awesome contest! It was really cool seeing some of these amazing screenshots, and even though I didn't win, the people responsible for making this contest happen- definitely made me feel like one ;). So, again, thank you for the opportunity, and again, congratulations to all the winners- you guys deserved it :D.

    Like I said, I would never have imagined that shot was done in such a short time, especially to actually get the pose you wanted to appear that quickly. It was great work. :)

    (The Devidians really have some great animations. Have you noticed that the Eidolons die shaking their fists in rage at you?)

    This was an awesome contest. And of course mere days after this contest ends, they giveaway the Enterprise bundle that would have made a good Ghostbusters costume combined with the gun you get from the Devidian Episodes.
