Uhm to make it worthwhile, have u made a rough ec calculation on the builds? Should be cheap, yet the right items surely need to be picked and bought or can one even craft white items?

magikarp and jigglypuff were great choices though.

I think this video confirms it. I have reached bittervet status.

Proof right here that a good team doesn't need all the cheese to win ISA. Basic white gear and actual teamwork got the job done.

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.
You underestimate Ryan's love of ponies! haha
I see us having fun.
And your last original idea was what? And when?

Was actually a lot of fun doing things like the 10% rule again
Piloting Skill > Gear
So, all in all, great idea : a run made with stuff you don't have to sell your liver for ... gg
Seriously, that was pretty cool.
I like this video. Supports what Ive been telling everyone who asked me for build advice, which is pretty much "boff setup and flight patterns are the key", and boy, how often was it that people didnt believe me. Well now I can show them this.
Hey, could you people possibly use those builds in other advanced (obviously to keep the "difficulty" on the same level) STFs in the game, and record the results? Id like to see how they'd fare in things like the hive, viscous cycle or the breach for example.
I have a feeling everyone have forgotten that ISA was once only a benchmark to test your setup - a short mission with a combination of single and multiple targets, a good starting point to extrapolate on other content, and then move on to that content. But everytime I go to DPS channels to get some people for "unpopular STFs" I get dead silence. And dont tell me Im the only one who is pretty much set resources-wise, and likes to change things up a little once in a while, even if its not "time efficient" (though I would very much like if the rewards were more better compared to the effort put in, but thats for a whole another thread). I mean is the only thing everyone's doing there is measuring their own virtual [REDACTED]??
Also the point of acquiring better equipment and traits and whatnot (aka powercreep) in my opinion is to move on to more difficult PvEs (or do the existing ones faster). Spamming ISA with ZOMGWTFBBQ setups is like staying back in 1st grade just because you can blow through it easily. Now again, this is an issue of time vs reward, so yeah, not that suprised there. If devs dont do something to balance that out, all those epic pieces of equipment are going to be, as shown on the video, rather redundant. Unless of course, it turns out to be impossible to do the other missions - hence my humble request - I have never tested such a thing myself, not even run an ISA with such basic equipment.
