Delta Recruits and Revamp of Cardi storyline

With season 11 just weeks away, I thought about something. Will the revamping of the storyline impact Delta Recruits and their ability to collect any Iconian items and then getting the rewards for finishing the cardi storyline. Since at least 2 of the iconian items are in the current cardi storyline, will the be put into the new storyline and the delta iconian project and storyline be adapted for the new revamp? I haven't heard any developer say whether this is a last chance to get the cardi story done and the rewards. Please can a dev or someone who knows say something?

If my Recruit hadn't already finished them all, I would certainly make sure they were NOT in the middle of it on the 27th.
That's the only way to be sure.
I would but I cant bring myself to do it. it's too painful. Given I think I finished the ones which are changing.

Text updates are tricky here because we have to get new VO recording done as well.
I assume that the requirement to complete the story arc will reflect the revamps so if you are for example 1/2 way through the current version of the storyline, you might want to finish, if you haven't started then I assume that you will fly the revamps cardi missions to complete that story arc for the reward(s) for finishing it?
Today I saw that one of my characters, level 60, still hadn't play a couple of those mission and I thought perhaps, perhaps one last time before they leave us forever? No, those missions are boring. The best thing was that you could skip them. Btw. I think the Delta missions have the same problem. Too much of the same, you fight this, you fight that, for which, for whom? Can't we just shoot 'm up?
My delta recruit also got killed in one of those missions. He is level 54 and flies a Nandi, but I have just equipped some mission reward stuff. I had to fight a Keldon and it took forever. The Keldon had 118,000 hp. Then a patrol of three Jem'Haddar attack ships joined the fight. The Keldon spawned it photonic reserves and I began to melt. I hit evasive manoeuvres, but was hit 19 km away from the Keldon. I have to check if my traits are active, I saw on another character that I have to reselect them.
I know everyone plays at their own pace but the event ended nearly 5 months ago.
I created 3 characters and finished “Cold Storage” with them all before the last day of the event on May 21st.
yes I do work and have a family before anyone plays the you have more time card.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
I created 6, trying to get the tech upgrades to complete a full rack of epic phaser arrays. All I need was to get them to level 50.
I can understand, that you don't understand it. I rolled 5 recruits, mainly for the good rewards, but I intend to keep them and to play them. I do have several characters, 16. I do play a lot and enjoy it, but my game time is split out over many characters. It means progress for an individual character can go slow.
The delta recruit I speak about is the last one. It got stuck in the cardassian arc, because these missions truly take the pace out your game. When there was an xp weekend, I went straight to the 2800 serie, which give better xp reward, also their rewards are excellent. Just because they are going to dissappear and it might give a problem, preventing something is better than dealing with a problem, I finished the arc. The borg and breen missions are still on the list, just as everything else.
BTW, a delta recruit still gets all the rewards. You could create one just before ending of the event, shelf it and play it whenever you like. This is also the case for your non delta alts. I realise that I have to check them, this recruit was a fed character and it did complete the cardi arc.
No time limit was placed on completing the tasks, so once players are done with one Recruit and unlocked all the relevant account-wide rewards, there's no hurry to finish things with any spare alts. I fully expect there to still be unfinished Recruits years later. Even if they don't re-run the event.
And if the task manager is broken at some point, it may never be fixed. The sooner you complete all of the tasks and get all of the rewards, the better.
