Comments
It appears the changes here have reset the Maintenance timers on any ship that was on maintenance when the patch was added.
No big deal, just thought you should know.
The Pulswave and Blast Assault have a new nice visual.
But the sniper, the High Density, the auto rifle and the Split Beam have now a same different visual as the first ones, before this update.
The Bat'leth is really beautiful, just the animation when she opens is not done for now, i suppose.
For the Admiralty system, it's really nice to put the Ship Roster in the same page.
As a FYI for any devs reading this, the melee crit doffs were not fixed in one of the previous patches, they still need looking into. @borticuscryptic sorry but they need another look.
Also, why don't we have a feedback thread for the Terran Rep?

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.
So, even if you take a break for 3 days, when you log again, you still have to go through the whole maintenance time.
Also, there is a bug/oversight with this thread. It seems I (and probably others since I'm just a Gold member) can edit or delete comments that aren't mine. Tried to remove and re-add a dot on darkknightucf's comment right above me and it worked (Achievement unlocked: Orwellian Editor: you successfully edited or censored a media person... your mother must be proud of you...).
EDIT: I've been here! Uhh, yes, I can confirm this glitch. TOIVA
EDIT: I too can confirm this.
EDIT: Yep, totally editing other peoples posts. weird
EDIT: Whoa, so can I!
EDIT: I've been here, too.
EDIT: This is not Gold-only. Silver can edit stuff too, it seems.
*clears throat*
This issue does not seem to be specific to this thread, either - the October 1 patch notes also have it, and I suspect all of the other threads in this subforum are also affected.
Re-edit: Uh huh. I can edit comments for patch notes as old as the subforum - but other Tribble forums (and Galactic News Network) are unaffected. Haven't checked anywhere else, though.
I for one alerted the ship team to the Avengers Bug A while back but have forgotten about it, I'll check in again.
Whats up with the Viewscreens on the Bridges??? I haven't seen an issue, can you let me know whats up so I can do some Bug Basher Testing?
Here are more details:
http://forum.arcgames.com/startrekonline/discussion/1203268/viewscreens-dont-reflect-the-bridge-on-recent-alien-ships
->
I have noticed that viewscreens on alien ships no longer reflect the bridge they have.
A little explanation:
Before, and still the case for older ships, when you get a dialogue window while in a ship, the viewscreen would reflect the bridge of the ship.
For examples:
-For Jem'Hadar ships, the person you are interacting with was actually viewed via the virtual display device (the headset that gave Sisko a big headache in The Ship)
-For Breen ships, it's in a dark blue viewscreen
-for the Obelisk carrier, the person is seen in a huge holographic ball
-for Ferengi ships, it's a dark purple and light brown viewscreen
-For the Kazon heavy raider, there are ornaments at each corner of the viewscreen
-and I guess the Tal Shiar adapted ones are all Borg-y and stuff
But that's no longer the case and recent (even the Kobali cruiser) don't have a unique viewscreen in the window, just a default one depending on the faction.
To replicate, it's easy:
-go to DS9, for example
-get the "welcome to DS9, you can dock" window
-notice the viewscreen
-beam to DS9
-go to the docking ring
-ready a ship with a different bridge
-beam to your ship
-wait for the "welcome to DS9, you can dock" window
-notice the viewscreen
-and repeat all that as much as you wish.
In addition some of the single time use favour cards have discrepancies with their permanent counterparts. One of the battlecruiser for example is an EngShip on the permanent card but a TacShip on the single time favour card.
But the ones in "personal" and from "department heads" seem to be ok.
Squishing Bugs for a better future
Caitians and Ferasans' tail length and thickness not only can't be modified in the tailor, but when you make one of the 2 sliders move, the whole game/tailor interface lags, as long as one of these two sliders is moved (either via clicking or dragging, and if you hold the mouse button anywhere on them.
