Did they fix BO use of set abilities (activated)

Bought the Dyson Ground set and was disappointed that there was no tailor costume. So I gave it to Nelen Exil to use...

while doing Midnight, I saw this werid bubble around him, Clicked on his icons and saw Hunker Down active... that is a clickable ability from the Dyson Ground Set. My BOs have never used the Integral Remodulator (Omega Ground Set Ability) before... So did they fix things and now BOs can use the Ground Set abilities? Or fluke?

    Uh...yes there is a costume unlock for Dyson...but you have to select it in the tailor...its in the upper right corner. And BO's always used clicky abilities...but not all of them. The only exception are the remodulators...i have never seen one use them.

    Umm what is it called? I have the MACO and Omega showing on the drop down list.... (also includes Off Duty and Formal and some others) I do not see a Dyson suit... I do have the Dyson Dress Uniform that you buy off the Tailor @ the Fleet Spire.

    And if BOs can not use the intregal remodulators... why can they use the other set abilities? Passives work cause it's passive. But if the ability is from a device not in the device slot... BOs have issues when using other abilities from set bonuses. If it's a bug then I wish the Devs would fix things so BOs can use the intregal remodulators, hate having 1 device slot used up by a fractal remodulator.

    If I recall, they never implemented the free costume unlock for Dyson. They left it as a ridiculous 150 or so Dyson Mark Upgrade project that was unlocked for you to slot in the Rep Upgrade slot after you bought the outfit.

    I do remember having to do this AFTER they instituted the free unlocks with the big Rep revamp.

    Don't know recently though if they fixed it.

    Another rep unlock? I did not check that after I bought all 3 items for the set. I'll check tonight to see if a new project opens up.

    My Boff's use their remodulator system from their MACO and Omega sets from what I've seen. Heck, my BoFF with Omega even uses the cloak mechanism.

    Hmmm My boffs dont use it... I did the broken circle? (borg mission one) and they all had the they adapted icons... stupid BOs wouldnt remod, least those with the omega faction 3 set. BOs with regular armor used the regular device to remod no prob. Had to give em devices to remod for those that had the omega sets. I'll check and take em to Deferi and see if they will remod, equip em with full-autos.

    Bottom project slot there is a project in the list to unlock the costume. I think it only costs about 5 Dyson marks and takes like 5 seconds to complete.

    Edit: To my understanding the remodulator from the Omega reputation ground sets is about the only active skill they use. I don't think they ever fixed it. Heck, they don't even use the Combat Triage Subroutine from the Jem'hadar set bonus.

    LOL they must of upped the price cause its 150 marks and 2 min grade time along with 3k dil and 40k ec.

    My boffs will use certain set abilities, while others like the Borg remod they won't.

    In fact, most often they only use about 1-3/4 of their inventory slots as well, sometimes over using 1 badly!!!

    Remod/remod/remod/remod/remod/remod
    Tribble pet/tribble pet/tribble pet/tribble pet
    Hypo/hypo/hypo/hypo/hypo
    Etc.

    You're right. I unlocked the Dyson costume from getting the ground set a few months ago. I forgot this costume has a high cost to unlock, compared to other sets costing around 5 rep marks or automatically unlocking.

    Double checked on the test server. The costume unlock is in the top 2 slots, not the bottom slot for special projects.
