I do: Better to show new players 4 high quality missions than 7-14 low quality ones. I remember how bad this arc was compared to the content that came before it when I was new to the game. I got very bored, and it was only friends that got me to slog through it. That's not a good player experience!
I do feel these are on the short side, and that's in all my feedback. But at the same time, these missions are so much better than the ones they're replacing.
How are these new missions high quality? Because of voice acting?
How are these better than the old ones? It took me 30 minutes even speeding through the old missions, but the new missions I'm done in less than 15 minutes, and done with the entire arc in 1 hour. How is that better? That means new players will be rushing through content faster and running into more problems leveling up. And people been complaining of hitting these level walls with the Delta Arc, this will make it worse.
Not to mention there is no overall story for this Arc. So what is it? The Orb? Nope, the Dominon? Nope. The Mirror Universe incursion? Nope.

Still doesn't justify removing them entirely. Sure as storyline missions they are outdated, especially because they never were really connected. However, we still can have a glimpse on the original Starfleet patrol missions, and that doesn't hurt anyone. So why not keep them around? Many pointed out they've seen better Foundry missions, than the four revamped missions. Well this doesn't change the fact, that I've seen far worse too. Even worse, than the legacy patrols.
So, yes, those missions were strechted out and some can be really annoying, but that really can't be a justification, to wipe them out entirely. Strip them of their generic rewards, leave a bit of SP & XP in (or even remove those), and convert them to patrol missions. All those maps and assets are anyway still in the game for the foundry, so remove the visibility (Storyline/Journal), and let people play them if they really want to.
I still consider the revamp of the 'Klingon War' arc, was Cryptic's best work so far, when it comes to updating missions just a tad bit. The other 'revamps' were complete redevelopments of content, which may make sense story-wise, but simply is not "just a little update, because it feels outdated".

Yeah, the Klingon revamp really was an improvement, because the stories flowed with one another, and with B'vat as the focus. But the Romulan and Cardassian Arcs completey dropped the ball.
The Romulan Arc, the first mission we are called for a meeting with Sela, but uses that as a trick to attack Vulcan in retaliation over Vulcan? Why was my character so important at that time to be called and not the Federation leadership like Quinn? She commits an act of war and nothing happens? And the story with Borg tech? What they are using it? Okay and then what? How was Borg Tech ultimately important to the Imperial Romulans outside of them just having it?
And now with this Cardassian Arc, there are really no dots connecting the entire arc. First mission was fight the True Way, Second was fighting the MU in returning the Orb, Third was helping Alpha Dominion? What's the ultimate story of the arc that justifies it as an Arc? That's why the Klingon Arc is so heavily favored, because it had an ultimate story. Which now begs the question is who made these decisions, Salami? Was this revamp really justified the budget expendature for content that's done in 1 hour? To me, feels so much was wasted and content removed for a small gain of a few days of praise.
For me, a lot of people have made some good points concerning storyline and length, so I won't rehash what others have stated well enough.
My concern that I wanted to bring up is that a unique reward seems to have been removed altogether, specifically the Personal Energy Harness Shield. All the other unique rewards have been kept in (and a couple of nice, shiny new ones have been added, thank you), but this one has been left out. Was this an oversight, or intentional?

So do tell me, how is this revamp better?

Interact_List: Accessing list model without updating.
And it pops up as a gray box in front of the game.
Hope it isn't doing that when it goes live. ^_^
Seems to be doing it for Take Item.
