We’re excited to reveal the stats of the awesome new Tier 6 Hestia Class Advanced Escort. This starship is an enhanced version of the Prometheus Class Multi-Vector Advanced Escort.

She looks really nice but given that I already have the Arb and the pilot pack, I'm going to wait to see what new T5 ships are coming. Now if you've got Ody and Vesta ships, that's a different story.

I like the stats, but that command station is a mistake. Should be either Pilot or Intel and never command on an escort...

No universal station? So much tactical with only a 4/3 weapon layout.

Command on a Prometheus variant? Interesting. Though considering the purpose of the original prototype, Intel might have been a more canon appropriate choice for a speciailization.

Honestly I'd have guessed that the Alita would have been Command (It is a carrier after all) and this beastie either Intel or Pilot, although I can see why Cryptic would make this one Command, as you'd "command" the multiple 'vectors' lol.

A Command based escort would be rather interesting to fly around, and the new skin is just plain HOT!

I might buy this... Eventually. Once I get the other shinies on my shopping list first, that is lol.

Wasn't it that only Cruisers had +20 Bonus power due to their bigger warp cores? Now even the smaller ships have +20 instead of +15.

I would have preferred a pilot or intel station, but with the MVAM console, Command also makes sense from the RP point of view.

Can we get a discount if we bought the T5 version on this ship? I know there is a lot of profit to be made but selling the same ships and just calling them T6 it's now a new norm. It would be "nice" to throw a small bone for those who have been here prior to the T6 bomb and at least give them a 5%-10% or 20% discount? Marketing does not do well at PWE

The bones we get is that we can keep using the old costume variants (some you may have unlocked only with a previous purchase), and that we can use the old consoles (and even get a console set bonus).
But apparently they don't want to give us a discount for the price. But consider the alternative - they could create a completely new ship with a single new costume and sell you this for 3,000 Zen - minimal customziation, full price, no set bonuses.

Their have been release-discounts for ships for the past few, it might happen again today.

why the command station???...we all wanted a pilot station on the Eng tac seat!!

Shes an escort class, not a command class, shes designed for speed and hit a run attacks, not sitting on the sidelines giving orders....PLEASE CHANGE THE COMMAND SEAT!!!

I really did expect a pilot seat for this one, and an intel for the eventual Defiant upgrade. I am a bit disappointed.

This T6 ship comes with previous costumes unlocked even if you don't have the previous ships in the line, does this apply now to all T6 ships?

If not that would be a serious unfair treatment.

I'd like an official word on it...

The Command seat also happens to be an engineering seat, and you happen to run on a ship that can be 3 ships, that means all those team-buffs in the Command profession might actually be useful if you're solo.

The Prometheus is the only ship I've ever really wanted...thanks for making the coolest ship in Starfleet viable again

Yeah, and it looks terrible on the original model. It just looks like the section is broken. Could this get a fix eventually, please? I know "eventually" is a dangerous word to throw around these parts, but still...

I will probably get it. It looks awesome and the stats aren't too bad. I'd still really prefer a Oddisey though. Preferably with Typhoon Class Skin. If that isn't possible i'd take a own Typhoon class any day though....

Yeah... kind of what I expected. Not really bad but simply not as good as the pilot escorts. Really piggybacking on the fact that it's a member of prometheus line.

While I do absolutely love the hestia's looks (srsly, that's some god damn awesome job done) it's just outclassed by the pilot bunch, specifically the Icarus.

It completely changes some of the most commonly used setups, and Reciprocity will probably have to go. As far as I can tell, the only T6 ships without any Universal stations are the Advanced Escort, Advanced Heavy Cruiser, and Experimental Science Vessel. Why is this?
