fleet research daily not available in project list

A few times it has happened to me now that after accepting the fleet research daily task, the corresponding project does not appear in the project list of my R&D tab. This has happened on different characters, both KDF and FED, and with different R&D schools. I then leave it be and continue playing, eventually it appears after all and I'm able to complete it. I don't yet know what does cause the update, but I can exclude the following:
- changing map
- changing character and back
- exit the game and restart

    I am observing this same problem. The recent DDOS disconnects kept me from finishing on a couple of toons. It seems like the recipe is on a separate cooldown timer of (20 hours?). When I did not complete them, the recipe showed up the next day. Completing the project and turning it in allowed me to grab another daily at that point, yet now the new recipe is missing yet again. The cooldowns need synched or the recipe CD needs reset when you can grab another new daily.

    There has been an ongoing issue where R&D schools are showing the wrong project lists. For example: You click on R&D:Ground and it shows the projects for the R&D:Beams school instead.

    The workaround is to select a different school then select the school you want. Sometimes you have to click back and forth a couple of times for the correct projects to show up. This has been reported multiple times since the R&D revamp.

    I'm suspecting this is what's happening. Next time you go to do the daily R&D crafting assignment, take a good look at the projects list. If it seems to have the wrong projects then click another school then back and see if you can get the project to show up.

    Also, the project for the research lab daily may be far down in the projects list so you may need to scroll down to find it. I forget which school I found this on, maybe Engineering. It wasn't visible at or near the top and I had to scroll down halfway to find it.

    @monkeybone13: The R&D UI has indeed an issue where the page doesn't always refresh when selecting a school. This is an inconvenience but not the problem I mean.

    @merkestrel: This is the problem I mean:) In the days between my original post and now I came to the same conclusion. Upon selecting the project for the first time, I hadn't all the required materials for it. With the familiarity that CD starts when accepting daily missions I took my time with it. As you said the CD of the projects is however not in sync with the one for the task.

    @Cryptic: Can we perhaps get feedback on this?

    I have just gotten the exact same problem, for my first time. It has ever worked since today. I just accepted the next "Fleet Research Daily" (Cannons), but it hasn't been listed under my R&D projects yet!! Tho it has been listed under my mission logs etc...

    Isn't there usually the button greyed-out while being in a cooldown?
