sunseahl finding only one single plothole and actually enjoying an episode?

What kind of treachery/witchcraft is this? Who are you and what have you done to the real sunseahl? I mean, she would have vivisected the episode and rallied people to get their pitchforks and torches to raid Cryptic Studios for the most recent (perceived) slight against klingons...

But jokes aside, Midnight was even better than Butterfly. I think there was more than one plothole/inconsistency, but I think it was an amazing episode. It's such a pity that the whole "Iconian war" was not quite up to that standard, but let's leave that for the upcoming review of the whole story arc.
I'm gonna replay all episodes (of this arc) and give an opinion on how they hold up/"feel" now that we know how it all plays out. Who's with me? And when are we gonna talk about it? I mean, your Midnight review is coming up this friday, so... next friday? The friday after?

Uhm... yeah... about that warblog... I enjoyed the content, but I really disliked the context. What do I mean by that? I liked that there are people within starfleet that don't like where this is going. (Just like Nog and Seven before...) I did not like the implication that anyone would listen to the captain of the flagship just because he's the captain of the flagship, when not even super-special-awesome-ultra-grand poobah-admirals (in other words... US) get asked for their opinion once...
Besides, we have read these blogs with passing mentions about how D'Tan and Chancellor J'mpok and Admiral Quinn are on board with these plans and have signed off on them and we get these personal blogs written by people we never meet again and we do not get anything about... uhm... let me think... the federation council fiercely debating this extremely controversial topic? The federation president pondering this moral dilemma? Some sort of "war council" among starfleet's highest ranking officers (read: admirals)? And the same goes for the romulans (they do have some sort of council, don't they?) and the klingons (High council, anyone? Maybe even just two or three representatives of different great houses having just slightly different opinions on the matter in one single blog?).

That gives me an idea... I should probably not just replay the story arc episodes, I should reread all the warblogs, too... And then do a review of the story arc ingame and an addition how the warblogs change my opinion (if they do anything to change/"modify" my opinion at all...).

I'll tell you what. You do the replay and re-read the blogs and you can give your review live on the show.

There were a few little holes here and there... but the most blatant to me is the one I took issue with. but that's for Friday!

We don't want what the Feds have. We want the equivalent. We want fairer treatment. Concern, desire, greed to some extent, and passionate belief that the enough people would buy KDF items to make it worth Cryptic's while.

@alex1ger I have to agree with a lot of the points you have made. Yes, there seems to be some super secret something pushing things forward against the Prime Directive. However, one must remember that desparate times call for desparate measures. That being said, I also welcome the chance to hear/read your recount of the arc and the way it has played out. Who knows, we may have seen some of the same things from different perspectives and therefore had differing ideas of how they might have effected outcomes. Only time and discussion will tell.

We may. But we might agree on quite a bit as well. You just never know. Gonna have to tune in to find out for sure.
