  Also right after that

  Creating Duplicate Threads (A Duplicate Thread is defined as a thread which discusses the same topic as another thread, which has had a new post within the last 30 days.)

  
  In other words, if the last post is more than 30 days it wouldn't be counted as a duplicate thread. And usually a moderator would say to start a new thread instead of necroing an old one.
