Liberated Borg Officer bug or noob foolishness

I'm a new player who bought the liberated borg officer with zen. When I opened the 'pack' a dialogue window appeared with her face in it, but because I didn't have any space for bridge officers I had to select the 'not now' option.

I then deleted officers but the pack has gone and my show candidates option in the station menu shows me as having no bridge candidates. I assumed I'd stupidly got her deleted.

I then bought another borg officer but game won't let me open pack as it says I can only have one version of the borg officer.

Any advice?

    Try looking in your Overflow Bag. If you have anything in it, it will be accessed by a button on the bottom left of your inventory window.
    Not commissioning the Borg SHOULD have put her into you inventory as an item but sometimes the Zen store items are finicky and bounce to the overflow bag even if there was open inventory space.
