personal trait unslotting + missing traits

SO I respeced my Cpt. yesterday and jsut saw all pers. traits are unslotted plus im missing
helmsman, sniper and bombardier


any1 else got this?


im at rage its the 2nd tiem a f a k ing bug is costing me a lot of EC

    Hi,

    i have the same Problem. Today i log in, start Gaming and see, that my traits are unslotted too.
    And one of my traits is missing: helmsman. All others are ok, only this one is missing.

    Same thing happened to me when i did a respec a few weeks ago. Found out the next day all my personal traits were deleted and most of the other ship traits too. No wonder i kept dying in pve... Lessons learned: respec = traits disappearing

    @dutchdame were they jsut unslotting or did actually soem ofthem DISSAPÜEAR liek with me and landire1ch?

    We've been unable to reproduce this locally. After all respecs, special Traits become unslotted, but are still part of the Available Traits list.

    If this is not the case for your character, we will require additional information in order to try and track down how/why. Any additional information you can supply may be helpful.

    well it was yesterday on the guy under Quinns office on my female romulan borg Sci

    I actually just noticed it TODAY that the trait was missing so it MIGHT disappeared somewhere else but cant be sure ofc

    it def was there 2 days ago when i got myself an astika from the exchange to get the starshiptrait from it for that toon

    I mena I got helmsman on all my toons that fly bulky ships it was threre and now its gone 35million is the actual price now so that really **** me off

    It may be helpful to make a copy of your character for internal testing. Would you please supply us with the NAME@HANDLE of the apparently-bugged character?

    They only unslotted as far as i can tell. I do remember getting a warning while respeccing that decreasing the points of some of the slots in skill tree would remove abilities but those were i think related to training boffs so should not affect the abilities of your character, only of your boffs.

    Yup! Like the ground skills reset problem, traits getting reset at random has become a major problem. Adds a whole new level of difficulty when you enter a mission and find out your traits have reset and you can't fix them IN the mission. -_-

    People have been bringing up both of these bugs for months (at least since DR came out).

    @sov42 maybe you didnt read the title or maybe you didnt read the topic AT ALL

    this is MANLY about traits MISSING

    you know GONE AWAY after respec!

    not stupid unslotting
    after unslot u can just put em back in!

    helmsman is 34MIL at the exchange right now
    THATS the problem!

    New symptoms of the same old bug. Still needs to get fixed, regardless of your personal problem.

    @borticuscryptic soooo did you find anything am I getting the traits back or am I to buy them from the exchange again?

    ok thought that i wont get any further responmd.... i ll buy new raits and make screens from all the expensive stuff from now on so i can proove i had them if they dissappear again!

    This may be on a different topic but i also have the problem with my traits unslotting randomly across all my captains, but i have an Orion captain that has missing racial traits (for lack of knowing what to call them). Though my Boffs who are also Orion have the Seduce and Seductive traits my captain doesn't. not sure if that is intended or a bug.

    • Resolved an issue when after viewing a Bridge Officer’s status page, that Officer's slotted powers would reset after transferring maps.
    • Added some information for when a player does a respec on their captain that some skills and traits may be unslotted during retraining and may need to be re-slotted.

    At least some of this may be fixed in this week's patch.

    yeah maybe this fixes the traits gone missing too am i getting my traits back?

    i already bought the helmsman again cuz its most important for my ship performance... am i getting 35MIl back?
