Crystalline Cataclysm Normal and Advance mode

I am up set about this mission.

This makes me mad the Crystalline Event is not giving out shards to every one.In the mission i have only had it once and it has been 8 trys since a shard has showen up.

And on top of that it is all so doing one shot kills again.Both in Normal mode and Advance.And on top of this do we really need a Censor block from the Crystalline.This event is all ready hard enough as it is.And now it makes it even harder to get the event done.With so many people doing it at one time.I feel like i am wasting my time.With this even

    The event info specifically states you may only earn a Crystal Shard once within a 20 hour period. In order to complete the project, you must return and play it the next day.

    And if you're having difficulties with the Entity fight, please make sure you've read up on its capabilities, strengths and weaknesses. There is a full briefing offered by Admiral Yanishev when you first warp in.

    Yes but the event info does not say every 20 hours.I know what the weaknesses are but did it really need to have a censor block option added to the game.

    From August 13 at 9:00AM PDT to September 3 at 10:00AM PDT, Captains between levels 50-60 can queue up for our 10-captain “Crystalline Cataclysm” event to defeat the Crystalline Entity and earn one Crystal Shard every 20 hours. After collecting 14 of them, players can complete a new Event Reputation project to be rewarded with 50,000 Dilithium Ore, 500 Fleet Marks, 250 Marks of their choice (Fleet, Omega, Romulan, Nukara, Dyson, Undine, Delta or Iconian Marks).

    Normal mode isn't really all that hard. It is, however, extremely laggy with so many people attacking.

    Yes But there is no 20 hour timer to tell us when it is ok to get the shard again.Some of us don't log in all the time to see.

    Simple work around: start a 20hr doff project after the run. :hushed:

    I'm so glad the best way to get around things missing from in game are by using a 3rd party program. Like emailing yourself or setting timers. Cause that's what i want to do when playing a game.
    Timers already exist in the game. Why is it so hard for THEM to put one in? Why is it up to the players to go outside the game to fix a problem with the game?
