System chat bug......

Ok, for some reason i do not have full system chat ie Zone, trade or local....I do have tell and fleet chat.....I have put in a ticket under support.....They gave me a laundry list of things to try.....

1....I made sure that chat was set to default.

2....Made sure that I had the approperate features checked like zone trade ect

3....Also I installed the latest update for DX 2010

4.....Did a force verify on the log in screen to see if my system was missing anything.....On the STO side retrieven only 1 mb of data.

5......Also went as far as uninstalling STO and ARC then reinstalling them to see if that would fix the issue....

6......Also look to see if i was recieving any errors from the system...Nothing

7......Finally i desided to run STO in Safe mode to see if that fixed it....Nothing.....


After completing the above i still do not have the full chat system available to me......The first time that this showed up was with the launch of season 9.0.....Thought nothing of it. Then before season 9.5 and the launch of season 10 the full system came back for only 1 day each time...BTW my main is lvl 60 and when this all happened my main was a lvl 50 so I meet the requirement of the lvl 10 min for a f2p account....I have the same issue in Neverwinter and have put in a bug report there also....

    Was just checking in to see if this bug was going to be fixed anytime soon....I know that you all are busy and all, just please fix it. Also if i wont be getting chat back at all, please atleast let me know that....

    Have you tried the /whitelist command.

    Google star trek online whitelist options (sorry can't exactly remember what they are as I had to Google it myself)

    I was having simular issues a while ago did all what you did and all I had to do was whitelist chat it's like a reset within game and worked a treat.

    My chat screws up every time i get lag which is most of the time at the mo, some channels work some dont, cant change channels, try using team & comes out in local, its a right pain in the TRIBBLE.

    I have tried /whitelist and still nothing....Thinking that it is on Cryptic/PW side...thanks for the tip tho.
