Yep... the instability increased about an hour and a half ago, when the population increased dramatically in the game.
I've been playing for the last 5 hours or so and didn't have any problems till just recently.

Been bounced out three times in the last 45 minutes.

Its ridiculous get your TRIBBLE together cryptic. Nothing but wasted time now thanks a lot, I'm tired of wasted game time due to repeated disconnects, no wonder the queues continue to stay dead.

Please, fix the server issues that seem to show up on the week ends when you decide to launch a new event like the upgrade event this time. You are now starting to lose the friends I got to join the game, sadly, because they can't stay in the game, and a couple bought the lifer. You have been doing so well to lose like this. I can't stay on my toon long enough to even set her ship up. after five DCs, I am giving up and guess I will go back and play WoW for the weekend.

Apparently there was some issue with the Internap circuit. The networking team has been working on it.

@thlaylierah there was an exploit that made Hanger Pets sad as well as EC sad. That's why.

Awww...please don't hurt my hangar pets anymore. They're still crying from the hitpoint nerf last year. A shuttle with the sniffles is a very bad thing.

Still disconnecting every few minutes. Apparently, Cryptic is following suit of other mmo's and seeing the cost savings, they are reaping the rewards of peddling unstable broken games.

For all the issues with power creep, ruining pvp, etc. STO until recently could generally say it did a better job of fixing bugs and generally had a very stable product. Now once people come online the clunky, broken game can't handle the load anymore. Game development is one of the few businesses in which you don't even need a working product for your customers to turn a profit. Sad.

Oh well, at least all the "It's not teh game, derp, it's your puter, hurdur, it's your isp derp" crowd has finally shut the frak up.

That's funny. This happens when the new T6 heavy escort carriers are released.

I can understand you not wanting to say exactly what the exploit was, but saying it made the hangar pets "sad and EC sad" makes no sense at all.

Also, tell them to fix the Plesh Brek hangar pets at the EC vendor. Many months ago I reported they were incorrectly showing as being Ultra Rare quality when they are suppose to be Rare (blue) quality. Comparing the weapons and skills to advanced versions in the dilithium store, they seemed to actually be blue quality (just judging by tooltips and item information. I never actually bought the advanced versions to test if there was a difference). So I always assumed it was just incorrectly marked for the rarity only. I checked on it about a month or so ago and it still wasn't fixed. Maybe now they can finally fix it, especially if this is part of the "exploit" you mention. I pray nobody gets banned for buying them if that's the case because the bug was reported a long time ago and nobody gave a damn to fix it.

Also way back then there were reports the Elite Plesh Brek hangar pets from the fleet store had the wrong stats and weren't functioning the way they were suppose to. Never bought them because it's way too pricey and I don't know if it ever got fixed.
