Should Cryptic Offer a Time Locked Expansion Shard ala STO: Rebirth?

Have the STO Devs noticed the Everquest 2 Time Lock Expansion Servers? Basically, it's EQ2: Rebirth as joked about here with STO: Re-birth on April Fool's day. I want to point out that there was a ton of interest in this and that the thread has over 50k views! The awesome thing is that we can start with the fresh game as it was when launched, then players vote on which seasons get to be added or not over time. So we could go just as far as we want with that.
I think there should be a option for us to play the game the way we loved it when it was complete with exploration, the Terradome, No Win Scenario etc. Let's have it! Pre-LoR.
I want to mention that I would gladly pay a monthly sub to access this shard. Daybreak is doing that, you have to pay to access the TLE server and I think it's very fair. This is anonymous poll. Please keep the discussion on-topic and constructive.

    Sure, you could try giving em a huge ammount of money, you will see how that will help a lot. If you dont, its ridiculous to even think on it.

    And again, another useless poll with no possible "no" answers. :p

    Based on the amount of negativity on this forum, I specifically left out a "No" option. If this isn't something you're interested in, that's cool. This isn't the place to debate it. This thread is for those of us that want it. So you can consider it more of a "Signature Gathering" thread than a true poll.

    Ow, then what is the point lol.. if you are asking basically, yes or yes.. hahaha. Sorry, it made me laugh.. the big issue is the shard itself... just with 1 single option will do it xDD.

    Voting NO is not an option when it's about a rebirth shard that is the only hope for STOs future.

    Hello no. Why? Because then they would have to split their development time/fixes between 2 versions of the game.

    That lack of "no" is really telling.

    The Grand Nagus stated, they would have to split development time between two versions of the game. There is also a question about how would each version of STO work together.

    Technically they don't need to split anything. It's the perfect oppotunity to abandon holodeck for good. Those few people who like the current game can still play and everyone else is free to enjoy rebirth.

    DPS-Bronze, DPS-Silver, DPS-Gold, etc. are FAKE! They were created by an outvoted minority who destroyed the original DPS channels!

    Tactical Team sucked, once upon a time. I got it buffed. Don't think for a minute that Cryptic ignores forum feedback.

    I'm not stating negative comments, just facts. If it was just meant to be a "Signature Gathering" thread why put a poll in it? Just state your case and open it up for discussion is all; no poll was needed.

    And reading the comments on this thread I feel that I am not alone when stating this. I'm sorry, I just feel you might have taken the wrong approach on this is all.
