Bug Hunt

Ok, so I know missions should be a challenge and all, but Bug Hunt (advanced) is ridiculous. Its not that the mission itself is tough, its that the odds are wildly stacked in favour of you losing with the smallest margin for error. My issue comes down to one thing only.... The Delvers that surround the Spawnmother. Why the hell do they heal her to 100% all the time? She's tough enough as it is and it's hard enough to whittle away at her health, but having those little creeps heal her to maximum constantly, not to mention the added bonus of a time limit, is just ridiculous. I'm not asking for the mission to be made super easy, far from it, but reconsider the constant barrage of healing delvers guys. Perhaps extending the time limit slightly and having a single horde of healing delvers emerge at a specific point would be better. Players would have to eliminate them before they heal the spawnmother. It's not too easy, but it doesn't make the mission almost unwinnable in certain instances.

    I believe this has something to do with group quality. If no one knows how to counter the NPC heals, then most simplest stat I can tell you is the minimum requirement of DPS.

    The minimum requirement for the Spawnmother if it heals is around 460ish DPS for the group. Each divided that is around 5 90+ DPS per player.

    If the group knows how to counter heals, the DPS minimum requirement is halved into 45 DPS per player or around 230ish for the group.

    This is for Advance Bug Hunt of course.

    I only play Bug Hunt on Elite so its possible the players there are better equipped, but in my experience the spawnmother's healing is not a problem. At least, not as long as the entire team is shooting it, instead of getting distracted by the other bugs.

    But in any case, complaining about Advanced being too hard is a waste of time, since turning them into zero-challenge auto-win-just-by-showing-up Normal+ is already in the pipe.

    The problem is called: Bad team performance.
    And that only warrant to lose the mission, independend on what mission you play.

    Bug Hunt on Elite it is equally impossible to fulfill and give thanks condition that must not die the guy that is already pretty stupid condition
    hereby had this mission not playing a waste of time when the end of it anyway fail to comply

    Was the change to BHE listed in the patch notes? Did I miss it?

    Nah, one of the stealth patches they did. NTTE and NSDE were also changed. But since there wasnt an official statement -there was enough rage to drive them to one- it seems it was intended.

    Its always good to come to self realization. Its also good for me, since I wont need to carry your extra-weight in the queues.​​
