Is the game down?

Got disconnected and haven't been able to log in, the server keeps timing out.

EDIT - Still can't log on, getting this message "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" - I'm in the Boston area, anyone else having these issues?

    still can't log in, launcher stuck at loading please wait ... Been trying for over an hour now.

    Just checked STOs twitter, if they are aware of anything, they ain't sayin.

    After 20 minutes if finally gave me a login, the patch went by fairly quick.Still not sure if it'll get me in game though.

    This has gotta be related to the patch, everyone downloading it must be stressing the launcher or something.

    Same in sunny florida as well... Have been experiencing login and rubber banding issues for the last few days

    sucks that the chinese won't fix this net working problem this has to be one in the top ten list of what drives players away from PWE let alone from this game the ability of a not smooth stable login sure be nice if the chinese would stop there procrastination about hating to lose money to pay persons or to upgrade to better servers

    STO twitter commented on the networking issue about 2 minutes ago, so they say that they are working on resolving the issue. It looks like its more than just STO that is being affected.

    I'm in but with serious SNR and Chat issues... it goes to 120, then resets without disconnecting

    and my connection is gone... for a good 15-20 minutes, I was bouncing all over the place, and chat was funky... now it's disconnected.

    still can't get on, here we go again. another day off no STO. No Problemo,

    I don't purchase zen unless I can log in, learned that lesson long ago.

    I'm sorry STO, I really am, but My fun money does me no good sittin in your pockets, while I spend another day off waitin and lookin around for something else to entertain myself.

    This time, maybe I'll go and see a movie. Antman sounds good. Then afterwards maybe I'll stop for an ice cream. Might not be any fun money left tho, My wife may want seconds.

    And to answer your question, Yes ! absolutely I pay my wife !, My wife takes my money then pays me an allowance!

    Now before you get to thinkin I'm wipped or anythin, she does all the shoppin for us and the kids, GOD, I HATE shoppin.....

    You couldn't drag me unconscious into a Walmart....

    EDIT- BTW, finally got on ! and there's an additional maintenance, so I guess they figured it out!
    Good on you Cryptic! I may just buy a few lockbox keys :D

    Well it's still broken as far as I'm concerned. I get as far as the login screen, press engage, go to the loading screen and the bar crosses all the way... then it just stops on a dark screen. No character list, STO isn't doing anything according to task manger, and my network is silent. Game client.exe is hooped too. It's done that half a dozen times over the last few hours.

    Will this game even last to the end of the iconians story... ?
