I was very excited to see in the patch notes that all event items from Summer and Winter are being made available.
I was equally disappointed to discover that if your toon has not participated in an event, then the store is not available for them.
This means all Delta recruits cannot purchase Winter Event items. I was really hoping of getting the Cryo Core.
Can I point out that this is inconsistent with Event ship availability as my Delta recruit was able to purchase the Breen Sarr Theln Carrier.

Also, the Cryoplasma warp core still has the 7.5% Weapons to Shields ability on it, so if/when you get one I'd hold off on upgrading it to Epic, as [W->S] doesn't stack...

Still waiting for the Dilithium Exchange price to come back down so I can afford the Command Ship Bundle that I ground out dil for back in February.
I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever fly that Presidio...
Seriously though, it was cool of the Devs to unlock the Event ships for alts like Delta Recruits, at least you won't have to wait until December to fly that Sarr Theln.
but the store was not opened by the devs it was opened by doing the summer event store unlock, any deltas not doing the summer event store would need to wait till the winter event to unlock it.
if you mean giving availability to winter ships as well as summer ones that is just because it would be pointless putting the summer and winter ships in different sections and would have meant twice as much work for the devs, so that's more thanks to the fact that listing them together was the easiest option then anything else.

We were talking about the winter event store needing to be unlocked on Delta Recruits before those characters could get a Cryoplasma warp core to go with the (already unlocked) event ships such as the Sarr Theln.
