Coalition starships, as well as the coalition's considerable expertise in the field of timeline manipulation, will now be made available to their allies from the Alpha and Beta Quadrants with the hope of ending these devastating conflicts and avenging the fallen.

Learn more about the stats of these new starships in our latest blog here: http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/9457253

    2 Destroyers and a Cruiser.

Good thing my KDF and RR Scientists want a Science ship. This means that I might save a few bucks on the keys for this box...

Which beggars the obvious question - where's the science love? Why couldn't one of the Destroyers have been Science?
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

To rob a line: [quote: Mariemaia Kushrenada] Forum Posting is much like an endless waltz. The three beats of war, peace and revolution continue on forever. However, opinions will change upon the reading of my post.[/quote]

I second the first reply. I was really quite disappointed. Seems yet again, my Science Officers are stuck with the Sarr Theln or the Scimitar! as their best choice. I'm almost wondering if you mightn't as well remove any officer track other than Tactical from the game entirely, since ninety percent of the ships are Tactical oriented.

Unfortunetly, the science dreadnought (Anorax class) is likely to be the promotional price for the new delta alliance doff pack. Pity. I was really looking forward to getting a new science ship.

You cant imagine how many people were waiting for it.. maybe thats precisely the reason we didnt get it.

Also it is the first time i see a "warship" with 5/3 lol.. amazing. We reached a point , it doesnt matter anymore the class of a ship lol.

I dont get the feel about the main prizes, but the Nihydron Destroyer looks good....

None of these are particularly visually appealing to me.

i guess the 5/3 was the only way to make it halfway appealing. No fancy looks and no science ship.
I ll go rampage if they put a good science ship into the doff-gambling-stuff.

So it says the Krenim Ship has a new bridge.

Will the Nihydron and Zahl Ships have that bridge, or the overly generic Bridge that was on the APU which now is used on most alien ships?

It's been asked elsewhere to post more specific data on the Starship Traits and Consoles, so I'll do that in this thread. With the explicit understanding that these are SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

    Starship Trait - Potentiality
    * Every 1sec while in combat, gain a stack of Potentiality
    * 3% All Damage Bonus for 10sec, per stack of Potentiality (10 stacks max)
    * Upon activation of any Bridge Officer Ability, prevents gain of Potentiality stacks for 10sec (existing stacks are not lost immediately, but this lockout period means they will all roll off)

    Starship Trait - Invincible
    * When reduced below 5% Hull:
    ** Unkillable for 8sec
** +50% Incoming Hull Healing for 8 sec
** +50% Incoming Shield Healing for 8 sec
    * May only trigger once every 120sec
(Note: If you are still at 0% Hull when this 8sec period ends, you will instantly be Defeated. This effect only prevents death temporarily - it does not render you Immune.)

Console - Timeline Analysis Sensor Grid
Foe Targeted, 90' Target Arc, 10pulses at 1pulse/sec
    * -5 to -50 All Energy Damage Resistance Rating (based on pulse)
    * -2% to -20% Defense (based on pulse)
    * -16.7% to -66% Flight Speed and Turn Rate (based on pulse)
    * If maintained on target for full 10sec, applies Timeline Analysis.
    * Timeline Analysis reduces Energy Damage Resistance, Defense and Maneuverability the same as above, at maximum effect, for an additional 10sec (without needing to maintain target lock any longer)

    Console - Temporal Shielding Matrix
    Self Targeted
Supercharge Temporal Shielding for 20sec, gaining all of the following:
    * +100 All Damage Resistance Rating
    * Immune to Damage from Chroniton Weapons
    * Immune to Movement-Impairing Control Effects (e.g. Flight Speed, Turn Rate, Hold)
    * When Damaged, attacker suffers:
    * * +2sec Recharge on All Abilities, including those not currently on Cooldown
    * * (This may only affect an attacker once every 5 sec)

Console Set Bonus (2pc) - Temporal Phasing
    Passive Effect - Always On
    * When activating any Science Bridge Officer Ability, gain the following for 15sec:
    * * +3% Defense
    * * +10 All Energy Damage Resistance Rating
    * (Stacks up to 5 times)

Additional note: Unlike previous T5 ships, the Nihydron Destroyer is capable of using the above Consoles.

If the Krenim Imperium ship had a battlecloak it would be a Tier 6 scimitar. I only wish the stats on the 2 Krenim ships were switched. I like the looks of the Lobi ship better but the Imperiums stats are what make it attractive.
The T6 excelsior is a epic fail. The stats are more T5 than 6 plus, I see ppl using the Fleet excelsior skin and not using the one that comes with it. TBH its as FUGLY as FUGLY gets.
Are we in a time now that only ships with a 5/3 weapon layout are worth getting. If it wasn't for some OP traits being bundeled with some of these FAIL ships cryptic would never sale a ship/key/zen whatever. Said my 2cents. Have fun fellow trekies.

If I'm reading this right, if target with trait gets vaped (100 to 0% hull instantly), it will survive?

It will survive. The Trait is built in a way that compensates for being reduced from >5% to <5% in a single hit, regardless of where you start and end up beyond those thresholds.

Very nice stats. I will keep the boxes I get in hopes to get around to opening them. And hope one will be inside. Usually they are priced way out of my price range on the Exchange. Since I have yet to hit the EC cap. I kept the Hirogen, Vaadwuar, and Dominion boxes too. So I can hope for the prize.

Shame you took out the ground weapons. That was one of the main reason why I like the boxes. Since I could easily afford those.

The trait and console are pretty rubbish really. You'd need to be giving us way more damage to make up for not using any boff powers at all, and the console is just generally meh. But the stats on the warship itself do look pretty good, in some ways it's almost my dream ship. Whether I'll actually pick one up or not is another matter. Well, we'll see.

They will very likely return in future Lock Boxes. The reasons they weren't included this time around were:

    - Test the new "Choice" mechanic out with fewer initial variables
    - Lack of reference art for Ground Weapons from any of the Year Of Hell species
    - Save time for Art to make more assets for Content

Oh. Looks as if this could become quite a point of frustration in PvP. And have almost no effect on NPCs.

I wouldn't be too sure about "almost no effect." Weapons, after all, are also included in this. You will notice their firing cycles slow down if they're shooting at you.

The T5 ship in the pack is the only one that interest me and not really from a playing point. Please give us sci heads something to hope for soon.

OK thanks, that story was mostly ships. I hope the new mechanic on the boxes work well. Since it will be easier to equip your ship with the weapons.

That's an intersting detail.. But I am not sure how much people worry anymore about enemies shooting at them. Consider how much everything is focused on DPS and how little people need to sacrifice to get some survival skills.

There was a time where survival-minded people slotted two EptS to get all-time good protection. I have the feeling that most people don't need to do that anymore. Adding yet another lifesaver to the mix might be... well, underkill might be more appropriate to say.

Of course, it's clearly not as if people have become completely invincible... But mostly probably because they really eschew most defences.

So where are the Mawasi Cruiser and Krenim patrol ship? Are we looking at 'Year of Hell Box 2: Before and After'?

Did i miss it or do the consoles do not have any passive boosts? I'm a little confused about it because for example the blog text reads "This universal console also provides a passive buff to your Shield Capacity and Shield Regeneration Rate." for the Zahl console.

    Halp!? :|

I actually like that generic bridge ... I just wish that bridge was setup to fill all the empty bridge stations with your BOffs. Bridges don't look right if most of the stations are empty.

    They do have passive bonuses.

Timeline Analysis Sensor Grid (Krenim Ship) grants a passive bonus to Accuracy with Cannon Weapons (11.7% @ lvl 60).

Temporal Shielding Matrix (Zahl Ship) gives Shield Regeneration (8.9% increase @ lvl 60), Max Shield Capacity (11.8% @ lvl 60) and additional Damage Resistance Rating vs. Chroniton Weaponry (17.8 @ lvl 60).

I am going to guess the answer is no but do timeship consoles work on these new ships or vice versa?
