If you could create your own bridge, how would you make yours?

I would have this BIG disco ball in the middle of the ceiling, with a button on my chair to turn it on to keep everyone happy when we are fightin the Borg. Kegs in the corner, Blood wine in the Fish tank. And a sign next to the turbolift, "Cash, Grass, or TRIBBLE"

Decent lighting, unlike all the existing bridges.

I think the blood wine would be a nice touch

I like the dark lighting in the Origin and Triumph bridges. To each their own.

Something small, so I wouldn't have to shout at the top of my voice through a megaphone so the crew could hear my orders!
But no really, something smaller. Space is at a premium in space (oh the irony), so wasting interior space with mahoosive ceilings and ultra gigantic internal spaces is not a recipe for an efficient ship design.

I'd go for a constitution refit bridge with a 25th century make over but bury it on deck 4 instead of deck one

That *would* be much smarter design, I think, for the bridge not to be on the outer hull. One of the features I like about how the Undine design ships. While it doesn't affect gameplay, I still can't help but notice.

I would want more bridges that are appropriate for an escort, since a lot of the giant starship bridges really don't make sense on a smaller vessel.

The lighting looks okay on the bridges themselves, but it makes the people look like they're telling ghost stories with flashlights in their faces no matter how well lit the rest of the place is.

Well... I wouldn't mind an NX bridge, or a refit Connie bridge.

Actually saw someone who made a decent recreation using available assets in the Foundry one time. Can't remember the name of the mission though.

Sovereign class bridge (or a similar one of my own design) would be more than fine for me. It's not too dark, and it's not too light either. And it doesn't look unnecessarily luxurious compared to Galaxy class bridge, while it still looks comfy enough.

As my main has an Intrepid-class ship, I'll go for the standard bridge layout for that class, with the following tweaks:

      - The material, color scheme and lighting would be updated to 2409/2413 standards, possibly taking cues from the alternative-reality USS Vengeance.

      - Holographic displays will augment standard LCARS panels at all stations.

      - I have dedicated Tactical and Chief Security Officers; My Tac is also the helms(wo)man, and so she should have access to weapons at the helm; My Security Chief will continue to provide Tactical analysis from the existing Security/Tactical station at the starboard aft of the bridge.

      - Remove some of the steps between the bridge areas and to/from the ready room and conference room.

You know what, why yap about every little detail, when I can just show you guys my ideal layout?
