I think that there should be an option to buy traits for boffs, this would fix the customisation option and open the crit rom trait for fed and klink PCs, as well as add a semblance of balance between the three factions. The only reason to choose one faction over another should always and only be flavor with few minor mechanical differences. Doubling up on crit is not a minor difference. Period. I noticed since the game went free to play equipment superinflated, elite have increased in difficulty to the point that grinding advanced stf's have become stressful. Let alone elite stf's, The discrepancy between tier 12 and tier 14 equipment is enormous, the power curve really shows with epic tac consoles which is 28-30% more powerful. A lot of people complain about the nerf to canons, but in reality, star trek was usually always about phasers and torpedoes, so using phasers more I guess feels more like canon.
