Transaction Cancellation on the Exchange

rocketman359rocketman359 Member Posts: 24 Arc User
The dilithium transactions go through so fast it is almost impossible to cancel them if needed. It wasn't this way before Dilithium Rising so can only conclude this was by design. I have lost a huge amount of dilithium because of this & it is 1 of a long list of reasons why I stopped spending on this game. Transferring dilitium used to be safe to do now it has a high loss rate.

Then you need to make sure that you're selling the dilithium for such a crazy price that no one would ever buy it.

So, did you? Or did you list it for 2500 dil/zen rather than 25?

I assume this is the reason you made a poll asking if the player base supports a faster means of dil transfers?

If you are trading your dilithium to your alts then you need to set the price at 25, at 25 zen per dilithium you will NEVER sell your dilithium as A. nobody will sell zen that low and B. if someone accidentally tried to sell zen for 25 dilithium the system would automatically change their price to the highest offer available.

To be fair, it's bad to set it at 25, you should set I at th highest possible number that you believe won't clear by the time you've switched to the alt you want the dil on.

You can only make offers of 5000 zen worth of dil. At 25 dil/zen, you can only have 125k dil in each slot. At say, 200dil/z, you can have one million dil in each 5000z offer slot, and trade up to 5 million dil at a time between toons instead of only 625k.

As good as that sounds, I wouldn't do it in the rare chance it does sell!!!

Besides, only the hardcore dilithium farmers/zen sellers, would most likely have some 5mill refined on hand!

You don't even need to leave the buy offer up while switching toons. Just post the offer and immediately cancel it. The dilithium will go into the "exchange balance" from which it can be withdrawn on any toon. There's no chance the price will drop more than a point or two in the time between clickin "submit" and "cancel."

But yeah, unless you're soloing fleet holdings, there's no reason to transfer millions at once.

Yes, I am aware you can cancel the transaction as quickly as it was made but, there is always that very rare chance it can sell, since transactions that do sell happen very quickly as well!

So at what price ARE you offering to buy Zen?
