    Due to my time zone, I was unable to play the game the whole day. Not really a big deal, as I found other things to do (and did something I should have a long time ago, too LOL), but it's nice to see an explanation what was going on, and even nicer to see all those goodies! :)

    Very glad to see this thread :star:
    But....spotlight missions are still offline, so how is supposed I could really grind dilithium?
    I always grinded dil with foundry spotlight mission + investigate officer, but can't do it now.
    I also tried to play a rewarder foundry mission from the "browse all" tab, but it gave me no rewards.
    So....great thing the dil bonus weekend, but pretty useless for me if the spotlight missions aren't avaiable.

    ps. sorry my bad english :blush:

    I would be stupid in saying this isn't a nice gesture. Considering we have had similar down times in the past with no recompense but the classic "we apologize", I am quite happy for this. Unfortunately this does not fix my personal issue. I had everything set on a schedule.... 7am PDT I would log in to do my monkeys, birds, and daily. This way I could get it out of the way so I wouldn't forget. Now I have to wait until 1pm PDT to do all of that and it will stay that way until Monday when I turn my final 40 vouchers in and claim my ship. I don't expect you to roll back time per-say but I want you to know how this extended maintenance has affected me. Now to address the actual rewards..... IF we were to get any type of compensation, the least I would have expected is an extension on Risa (which you provided). What was a bit of a shock to me was the Elachi bonus marks and bonus dilithium. It's still grinding mind you, but at least it has a decent pay-off (even though it will be short lived). I think I might speak for everyone when I say that we will probably be farming and saving for that new Fleet Holding coming out( a.k.a Fleet grind number 5). The only suggestion I have is not only treat the players right, as you have just now demonstrated you can do, but listen to them as well. It might be 5 years later where this message hasn't reached home but I feel we, as a community, are finally getting some lee-way. Either it's that OR the metrics told you to change. I rather it be the first but I won't claim ignorance either.

    Generally speaking, battlezones reward quite some dil. Then there's various patrols, doffing and playing episode missions for the first time also rewards at least some dil (replays get more of a token amount of dil).

    I appreciate and applaud this communication to the players. The bonus's and extensions that were granted are unexpected and even better for it. If you maintain this level of honesty and communications with us players on the forums, then I see STO will be in good hands and will progress in a positive and happy direction.

    Salamiinferno = Epic EP.
    Trendy = Epic community manager.

    To quote Star Trek IV: "You have literally saved this planet (game) and we are forever in your debt"

    Oh, and whilst we're blowing smoke up Cryptic's b###s; the lag has gone! It's like a new game!

    Good news, now if Zaria and Voth BZ can get fixed next... the patch that was supposed to address that didn't work.

    I honestly wasn't expecting any compensation since these changes were made with the intention of bettering player experience on the whole.

    To see something like this posted is very encouraging and in all honesty makes me as a customer feel more likely to do business with PWE going forward. Thank you very much for everything that was done to make the gaming experience better for everyone.

    The forums get bogged down sometimes in negativity, but we really do appreciate this.

    Hi Neverwinter Team!

    Please do take as much time as you need to get the deed done pat, NW crew! I've always felt so guiltily grateful for indulging such high quality free relief before pillow time to flush a grueling day's pits down the drain! :smiley: I love your gameplay, artwork, music, everything! And wish you'd a bio page and photos of your unsung team to hang on the wall (or rather stick to the edge of my lap screen!) :smiley:

    Keep up the good work and remember you're always appreciated!! :smile:

    Take Well & Care!

    Much appreciated, communication with the Community is the Key and thats the Way it should be handled, great to see that Cryptic is steering in the right direction, and great Job Salamiinferno. Had allready lost all hopes for STO but iam happy to see that there is still light at the end of the Tunnel ^_^

    But never than the Less there still things to do, there are still many Nasty Bugs in the Game (Boff Powers Reseting all the time for example) hopefully they will be Fixed soon.

    The extended downtime was indeed frustrating for many globally. However I personally don't agree with throwing freebies players way everytime things don't go to plan. Not that I am not grateful for them, I am, but the playing community needs to realise and accept that maintenance such as this may not always run as intended. Yes fine extending the Summer event by a day, that was great, but the dil, nah sorry too much.

    I wasn't really expecting any sort of compensation for the extended downtime. Frankly, unlike some people, I'd prefer an extended downtime to get the problem sorted instead of constant little attempts to fix the greater issue.

    That said, thanks for the bonus dilithium. :)
    Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.

    I also appreciatte the communication. Too bad the "fixes" they tried about lag for so many hours didnt do anything for a lot of players. Now it is even worst in some cases lol.

    True. I rarely, if ever, get DC'd and last night, got DC'd 4 times in a row, but I suspect that may have been bad weather wreaking havok with my connection.

    I got some lag every so often. Now after the fix, it has jumped up considerably. Hopefully they'll be able to track down the problem soon.

    Who shall be given up as a sacrifice to the players?

    All the forum police who said nothing would be given away for any sort of compensation. That's who.

    My computer still cant connect to the Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate and fails after 5 attempts. Tells me to contact Tech Support, but they are unable to provide me with sufficient support to fix this problem. There are many many others that have the same issue.

    Could you please have a someone look at this and fix the error. And read the forums on Launcher not load or crashing or timing out.

    Very annoying being a Life member and not being able to play for the past 7 days.
