New Kit Module - This item is busy...

I can't use the kit module from the new time in a bottle reward. I keep getting some wierd "This item is busy" message every single time I try and equip it.
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.

    Assuming you are trying this while in space? You need to go to ground to be able to equip/un-equip modules

    This happens to be THE most common kit bug.... Kits seems to LOATHE slotting Universal modules on Holodeck. I still haven't been able to "upgrade" my Imperial Star Navy Kit with the higher mark universal that one grants.

    Only solution is to beam away and beam back.

    It's not just a thing with universal modules. Happens with every profession if you try to slot them on a space map. Beam to any ground map and it works, it's like this since the sector revamp if I remember right.
