but England is part of Europe so kinda a correct statement lol.
Only foreigners and traitors say that... Europe starts at Calais...

If you're not ready to pay for it, best to avoid it. It's probably a lot like the N word. It's funny when they call each other it, but if a white guy says it, the whole world freezes and holds it's collective breath. Basically, if somebody else uses it sarcastically in reference to me, no harm no foul. If I use it, I get five for fighting.
That's probably because when you use it you use it in an aggressive context to attack another individuals.

This is not news. Those acceptable situations, no matter if between friends, usually aren't allowed on places like this.
Well I'm mostly guessing based on your low opinion of TRIBBLE people. :P
Question: What is your definition of a "low opinion" of TRIBBLE people, in a world where that is far too often defined as simply saying, "I don't agree with the TRIBBLE lifestyle, and/or being TRIBBLE".
Far too many people who define others low opinions this way, also like to define the concept of tolerance, no thank you.
Most people who lobby for acceptance of the TRIBBLE lifestyle, to include efforts at getting legislation passed to ensure it as a "right", also sue, lobby and attempt to legislate the censorship of opposing views, so where is the "tolerance".
He also does have a point when in his earlier post he refers to the use of the N word, and the double standard associated with it, I have always hated hip-hop for this very reason.
That fact that one group claims some kind of right by ethnic birth to use a term seen when used by others as racist, is simply perpetuating racism/discrimination or intolerance, take your pick.
People assume that by making these words unlawful to be spoken in society that somehow it will be a better world, you have the right to pursue the TRIBBLE lifestyle, but can be jailed/fined if the wrong word is spoken.
I don't say these words because there is no point, they are negative by any definition, and accomplish nothing.
But if I were TRIBBLE, I would rather stay in a closet and retain my free speech, than surrender it.
People should be careful what they wish for.
But hey, this is STO, where in-zone, or on the forums, people are enlightened in all things, and usually actually know nothing.

What exactly is a 'TRIBBLE lifestyle'? There isn't one any more than there is a 'straight lifestyle', anybody saying that obviously knows nothing about TRIBBLE people at all.
Homophobic bigotry is covered under hate speech laws, it's not a free speech issue at all.
Thank goodness I live in a modern country and only have to read this TRIBBLE on the internet.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

'This is clearly a military operation. Is that what we are now? Because I thought we were explorers!' Scotty: Into Darkness
'...The Federation. Starfleet. We're not a military agency.' Scotty: Beyond
'I'm not a soldier anymore. I'm an engineer.' Miles O'Brien: Empok Nor

Forun rules are forum rules. Whether you may be comfortable using a word in trying to take it back through de-legitimization does not mean others disenfranchised by said word will be comfortable. The precedent for redefining that is certainly not in the forums.
