This company blows when it comes to fixing issues.
I have done my part along with other people in the forums, filing issues that pertains to the game.
Here is a list of examples that the company does not pay attention:
1. Listening to people who address the issue... Even kindergartners can easily idenity bugs for this game and surely do better than those who don't care.
2. Buggy internet service.
3. Buggy graphics. I have a gtx 750ti dual fan along with 16gb of ram and the game can't even stay on 60fps due to lack of coding.
Top 3 issues they tend to neglect and I rather have the staff or manager complain to these guys for being lazy and not taking notes to priortize these problems in order for them to get corrected.
No, I was in a match "khitomer vortex on advanced" and we destroyed one of the gates... So All of my teammates jumped across the otherside to finish the second gate... Right? I was about to finish off this last borg probe and this game randomly decides to just drop me out of the blue.
No compensation, nothing. I wasted my time just for this game to have bugs.
1.) The team is addressing problems. LISTS of problems posted on Twitter for us to see.
2.) Salami Inferno has talked about these issues. And he's keeping us in the loop.
3.) They are not only tackling issues, they are fixing issues for the long term. No bandaids.
4.) They take criticism and feedback and act on it.
Wile they may NOT be fixing things that are important to you specifically (I have a list of 4 things impacting my game play), they are targeting those issues that benefit the majority of the community.
This is a far cry from the last EP, who would in effect - blame us - for some of the issues.

Drops happen for hundreds of reasons, many of which can be tied to:
1.) Your ISP.
2.) The server route.
3.) EMP blasts from invading aliens.
4.) Your personal gaming computer.
5.) Your downloading of illicit copies of Games of Thrones.
6.) Your router

And how is that any different from most other MMOs? If you get disconnected and can't get back to the map fast enough, then obviously you will miss out on the reward if it is automatically granted instead of the MMO using a treasure chest to grant the reward. Also, it is not certain if the game decided to drop you. It can be the game, your computer, or some problem between the game and your computer. Cryptic can only mess around with the game servers not your computer or anything in between.

What's your beef that they have not fixed?
Connection, stablility, and feedback is something the majority would like and always will be. It's not just me, it's other people who will eventually add up and will end up being a majority of this games population.
Personally, if I see someone having an issue I just read it and have the programmers work into the problem. I wouldn't turn my back on an issue to be left unsolved.

3 being the most probable, which means the dev team really can't do anything about it. Why aren't you blaming the military for not doing their part?

My team relied on me to finish the last borg probe. And having this unstable cryptic server is limiting different parts of the world... They have only Euro and North American servers. If they added australian or asia servers, also including a better network. Then things will be great!
Everything on my end is checked.
Gaming computer... Checked.
Good internet connection... Checked.
No issues with other games internet... checked.
As a typical player behind the screen, I have been playing games whether if Im in the states or in a foreign country the issues I see are common. So it's not me.
Connection, stablility, and feedback is something the majority would like and always will be. It's not just me, it's other people who will eventually add up and will end up being a majority of this games population.

There will always be a small group of people that have issues, and that small group will always believe themselves to be the majority. I can play this game on my 2 year old laptop tethered to my iPhone and get better performance then you're seeing, but you automatically assume the problem is the game and not anything you could possibly be doing.
They have made a considerable amount of optimizations just over the last 3 patches alone. The game performance has massively increased over the last month, but since you personally have issues, it must mean the programmers 'don't care.'
Well, OP, I agree up to a point: there are issues that are not being addressed but should be. I do not go to the extremes of calling the devs lazy or incompetent, though. This will do nothing to further your point besides punitive action for breaking TOS.
also, a thread like this is bound to attract the sycophants like flies, and I can see several here already.
Apparently your definition of sycophant is "someone who does not vilify Cryptic for every action they take, as well as every desired action they fail to take."
Some of us accept that this is an underfunded MMO compared to SWTOR and WoW, so resources for fixing bugs and adding new features are more limited.
I file bug reports and post in bug threads, point out what I think could be improved, and thank Cryptic for their successes like the very nice Breen carrier, the much improved (if imperfect) crafting system, and the revamped boff skill system.
Insulting Cryptic staff is not helpful. Also:
OP, since you will be rage quitting soon, can I has ur stuffs?
To assume that NOTHING is being done is a false one.
I'm just trying to show that not everything is necessarily a dev plot to prevent you from killing borg. Completing the Defari run without crashing? Sure - THATS a plot.

It's not the "game", it's the "company" isn't fixing these issues. I tolerate issues for a couple of days but if it is more than a week then I should complain. I shouldn't have to keep logining in and clicking the same character just so I can resume the match.
But you got to remember if my other games aren't having graphic issues or internet issues... then why is this game having problems versus other games that I do have that are working well?
I see more effort for my other games that these companies are fixing these problems one by one and not excluding other people and putting them at the very low chain. Which makes them feel like these problems aren't going to be corrected.
You do realize that bug cycles sometimes 2-3 weeks to find, fix, test and then deploy? Not to mention there'd be an order to the fixes, based on priorities.

Dude. Wake up. To assume all games are inherently the same 'thing' is foolish.
Okay... I will give them the benefit of the doubt... for now.
I bet you by the end of august, cryptics internet issues will remain the same or they haven't corrected stability issues with graphics (meaning that those with high craphics cards that touch 60fps for a good minute and all of a sudden it drops down to 15 fps).
The reason being of my fps sharply drops is because the monitor vertical sync has a bug that effects the Frames per sec.
Edited: I have tested the vertical sync out, turning it on and off. If I leave it off then I will have a constant 59-60fps. But if I leave it on It will randomly fluctate during missions from 60fps to 15fps.

Like fixing Defera.
Is Defera still broken? Or did last patch finally fix it?

I've played a lot of mmos and I have to say this is probably the buggiest mmo I've ever played. It's pretty disturbing how long it takes them to correct bugs.

P.S They have no problems for us paying for our interest for this game... but they surely like to not want to work and get rid of the bugs.

Like fixing Defera.
Have you read the weekly patch notes? - http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=118
If you do, you'll see that most weeks the "lazy" devs have fixed bugs, added features, or both.
Maybe not the bugs you want them to fix, but they are not spending all their work hours playing Farmville.
By the way, SWTOR has had a crash bug at the end of the Esseles / Black Talon flashpoints since launch. December 20, 2011.
