    Is it A or B ?

And can the ships material be changed (white or Green for ex) ?

    A = Face End
    B = Funk End

The devs have said it's based off a trilobite, to match with the D'Kora being based off the horseshoe TRIBBLE.

That makes it an interesting design, i like it!

So this looks to be another direct replacement for a previous lockbox ship.

I foresee complaints. Not from me, I don't have the old one.
I own the D'Kora, and I am not complaining. The D'Kora's a good ship and I love the bridge, but even in battle mode the turn rate is just painful and it's way too eng-heavy.

Replacement? They're made by the same species, share the same bridge module, and their consoles now form a set. That is literally the only thing the two ships have in common.

Actually, the standard aspect of Ferengi design is the curved aft section. which this ship has. So it's definitely not backwards, just weird.
That's not quite true. Of all the Ferengi ships we've seen--D'Kora, the Soodii transport, the shuttlecraft, even Eaves' concept art--the one consistent aspect I see are a pair of forward-facing "prongs", with the body or "head" of the ship protruding forward from the base of those prongs. The Nandi's a great ship, but there's a reason so many people think it looks backwards--it's an inversion of the usual hull layout in Ferengi ships. This configuration looks more Cardassian.

Hmmm. This ship/console set makes me wonder if a T6 D'Kora is coming. (A Merchant or Pirate specialization could be coo, tool :P.)

Seems like a great ('free') ship. I don't have any pilot spec ships yet so that will be cool to try. (I passed on the Pilot C-store ships due to disgust over the Lohlunat Pearl fiasco.)

I know it is just something under consideration, but I think opening lockbox and lobi ships to alts would be great (except the buying more ship slots to accommodate them). Personally, I feel every ship should be account wide unlocked, dismissable and reclaimable. Especially fleet ships. Could be a positive selling point for the game (to counter some of the aggro STO has accumulated as of late).

i think the problem with the cryptic art team is, that they just cannot live with "just altering" established design concepts - they always "overcompensate" and somehow have the utter "need" to "over-art" things. they always cross and forego the finishline by a big amount. and thats why they somehow always (most surely) end up pissing of "real frnachise fans" (because those ppl just expect derivates of the existing - like the eaves concept of the marauder for example - its a derivation, nothing is "changed the big one" its just a derivation) - but the "artists" just cannot work just that way. they "feel they have to express their art"

thats basically the no1 problem with artists and customer expectations.

if expectations of the customer are met - the artist feels under-recognized in his art.

if the artist is satisfied with expressing his art - most customers are kind like "wow thats called art today?"

i personally like the eaves derivation 100xtimes more than the nandi.

but i can understand the artists as well - but since im the customer, its not about the artists satisfaction, its about "mine" (the customers) otherwise paying would be reversed ;-) (okay we dont pay for this, thats why im not complaining)

but most artists have to learn that making money of art means satisfying the customer not yourself - that may sound hard, but that IS the deal, if you want a deal.

It kind of looks like a very lazy scorpion... or a squashed one... to me, at least.

Meh, whatever. Maybe it'll grow on me. We'll see how she performs before I slap the console on my Feddy's D'Kora.

Nandi looks nice, though odd that a warship can't equip dual cannons.

To the previous poster's statement, I don't even need the lockbox ships to be account unlocks, just a player unlock or a way to repackage would be a help.

I would love it if it was just bound to account. So i could send my Lobi ships over to another account if I was done with them.

Looks good 'on paper', I'll have to unpack that beastie and fly it around for a bit before making any serious opinions.

Looks like it's flying backwards, though...

I totally thought the same thing. I was like "why are the motion line thingys coming out of the front?"

Overall not a bad ship but the exterior skin is cartoonish compared to the D'Kora. I know your artists can do better work.

I like it, but I love Destroyers, looking forward to taking her for a spin.

Colors seem a bit cartoony, but that can be fixed in multiple ways, including shield sets.

Haven't found a ship yet that KHG or Jem shields can't fix.

Since they've done horseshoe crab and trilobite Ferengi ships, the next one should be based off a giant isopod.

Actually, from the artist's point of view, you're not the customer. The person who pays them is their customer.

Honestly though.... One of the things I disliked about BotF was that most of the Ferengi ships looked like the D'Kora TOO much. It was simply a matter of rescaling the parts and mad ethe Ferengi ships boring as heck.

Let's face it.... What do the people who make ships for the TV show do? Not rehashes. At least not often. Instead we got the T'Varo, the D'Deridex, and the Mogai, all Romulan, but with VERY different configurations.

So I'm happy that the Nandi doesn't look like a tweaked D'kora model.

I completed the Ship Event project on my Ferengi. So how do I grab it on my other toons. I thought you claim it via the event project again but nothing.

The first Belfast was commanded by Captain Ve'Kal Shon until its destruction in 2409. A new ship was commissioned bearing the same name and registry as special dispensation to then newly promoted Captain Edward XIII for his pivotal role during the renewed Dominion War.

Your alts need to have the 'Event rep store' unlocked. Then you just go the the 'Account reclaim' tab and get the ship.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

it was confirmed that the Nandi has the same bridge, we have yet to find out if that includes full interactive access.. I'm guessing not, but we shall have to wait and see.

It has the same access as the D'kora bridge. I was hoping that they would at least expand the bridge to include trophies at least.

yeah but wasn't the eaves derivation the basis for the original? I love the art dept guys we have working on sto.. there is oodles of talent there, and don't forget, the artist very rarely has final say, so what you see is what they have been asked to do, not always what they want to do, and ships are complicated, it isn't just a visual, every function, effect, every possible motion contributes to a resource cost.. oh and on top of that they need to make sure it's an original work. it always astounds me just how much work and chasing around goes into even the smallest ship projects.

on a mobile so sorry for any misspell or wrong words lol

ah, so it does have the exchange bank and mail access then.. very surprised by that, a part of me is kinda annoyed, i spent good money to get those facilities on my D'Kora, but another part of me (the part thinking about the 11 characters that dont have a D'Kora) is thinking ok thats cool :)
