Ok i have a question to Cryptic (and specially someone from higher representative of devs like maybe borticus or such)...

Currently we all know we have lag issues - and NO ITS NOT WHAT IM COMPLAINING HERE ABOUT - that make other issues in the game that were visible to some point but still in managable state.

Im talking about cannon weapons, specially dhc's (dual heavy cannon's) and turrets.

In current lag issues we have and ppl that use stuff that increases the lag like t6 ship traits, command stuff (still not rly fixed) and pilot stuff (that also makes lag spikes), currently its impossible to fire dhc's or even turrets.

Today at this date and hour the thread is made, im sitting in kerrat and shooting at afk ship with already auto fire on turrets and dhc's as manual fire is impossible by perma lagging out. ONLY 1 TURRET shoots from 3x dhc's and 3x turrets (its like that from over 5 minutes now - now its not my connection as i have a 10mb connection that has around 150ping max on other american server games and never experience any lags on any other games).

We all know devs that currently only tbr/fbp and beams are in usable state as they are coded differently then cannon weapons and torpedoes.
There is a reason why in pvp there are only beam ships (even only beamscorts) and sci ships... Because ppl cant shoot other weapon types so its like flying without weapons.
Also we have to add that even on lower lvls of PVE ppl earlier had dhc's on escorts... now even of the lowest lvl ppl equip just beams as ONLY THEY ACTUALLY SHOOT.

So i have a question and a bug report also... Since we cant properly use 2/3 OF THE WEAPON TYPES IN GAME maybe its time to recode them so that they work like beams!?. I think its about time specially that the server problems will last longer and be probably for ever with the cosntant new abilities that are added.
I will leave the game before i switch to beams on my romulan ship (as its not canon).

for the sake of the requirements...

toons: Romulan kdf and reman kdf toons
bug report: dhc's and other cannons weapons not firing because of the in build delay on firing while constant lags for months now make it perma restart and making canons jsut gray out (and torps to stop firing spreads) - at least it seems like its the reason...
date of occurance: last 3-4 months permanently and worse with last patches

forgot to add in the "for the sake of the requirements..." part, that this problem hits torpedoes exacly on the same scale (probably the same reason)

    I absolutly agree with all that toffik write. It is unplayable with other weapons then Beams. It is really time to fix that relevant problems Cryptic.

    Many player offerd so many Dilithium / Euros / Dollars in their equip only to see now they dont work because the actual server situation dont allow it. So they must build now new weapons only to can play "normal"?

    It looks like somekind of moneymaking for Cryptic (because after month they dont fix that problems) or they Just ignore anything like that.

    +1, we have this problem as well. A lot of escort players complaining about this problem from the beginning of Anniversary event. It's really frustrating to run a dhc/turret build when half of your weapons just don't fire... fix this please :(

    I have the same problem,, i love escorts but my JHSS is in the dock covered with dust because i cannot play it due to this mad lag problem.. i just fly around and rarely fires a salvo from DHC od turret. skill tray is lagging to. and set skill on activation to a 2-3 sec CD without actually activating any.

    Are they trying to force players to use only beams? XD

    Well this topic is certainly an indecipherable pile of garbage. I'm not saying that these issues aren't affecting users, but god could this benefit from some formatting and better sentence structure.

    This isn't really a bug report, so much as an airing of all your woes, just throwing everything out there haphazardly.

    I was going to comment my observations in here, but frankly I'm just going to make another, better thread that actually has formatting that doesn't sear the eyes to read.
