In the lore star trek online says that the Kremin have been defeated bye the vaadwaur.
And Voyager AFTER THAT was sent on a secret mission to Krenim space mentioned in one of the missions.
And then in the last patch, Cryptic added Krenim ground costumes to the Foundry.
My guess is that a Krenim will develop some kind of temporal tech to get his people unconquered (possibly spurring the re-creation of the temporal weapon) and that we will rely on the technology to defeat the Iconians, as we've been repeatedly told that the Iconians' ONLY weakness is that they're vulnerable against time travel.
one thing always blows a hole in this krenim idea and sinks it, but people keep trying to bring it to the surface to see if it can float again, but the hole is still there and keeps sinking.. guess in time i hope someone notices it.
the hole in the side is at the event on voyager in the year of hell which never happened, because the timeline was reset. there was never any proof the krenim had time technology. the only bit that explains the krenim is the one frigate at the end who warns voyager off because the area is in dispute.
that means you need to prove the krenim have time technology and until you do the idea is worthless. when you do have something solid then i got nothing to argue against.
"All Good Things...". We have the Galaxy-X in the game despite that timeline not happening as the Ent-D was destroyed in Generations.

I wish that we'd actually had the Year Of Hell and the Kremin as a season-length enemy.
If you believe Chuck* then that was a serious possibility at one point before they decided to make it a two-parter. As for the insane Janeway... well, I prefer to think of her the same way Chuck does; it makes the show much more entertaining.
*The sfdebris guy, who also gives a hilarious explanation for how Janeway hit admiral and Picard is still a captain when he must be about twice her age.
Well, hopefully, they can get Curtwood Smith to do a featured episode. Defeat him, and you get the "Red Forman" ground skill, where you can put your foot up an opponent's TRIBBLE$!
They're not really gone, as long as we remember them
