I asked a question i wanted answered, why add a feature that doesn't work, its not misleading in the least
First, the title should be about the command. Second addressing a post to the devs is a good way to get your actual purpose ignored and ridiculed.
If you actually want a developer response, you should post it with a descriptive non-emotional title in the bug report forum with a detailed description of which mission and how you got stuck. Cryptic frost almost certainly will respond. If you make it flame bait like this thread, he almost certainly won't.
To answer your question, stuck does work but there are a few areas on a few maps where it is locked out to avoid it being used to bypass mission progression and probably a few where its blocked because of bugs.
There's also many maps where it works, but doesn't move you far enough.
According my knowledge of this forums, they don't like questions asked from their people.
And if something is not working, it's a bug and the name of the bug should be part of the title.
Thus you did anything wrong, which you could do wrong. IMHO
From my testing, the /stuck command moves you to a location near your present location. However, if the location you happen to be stuck at is precisely the location it wants to move you to, then the command won't work and will give you that error message.
I think it was disabled because people used it to get where they were not supposed to go, like getting outside ESD.

The only time i ever got it to work when when i wasn't stuck, every single time i have been stuck it never worked, its also highly unlikely that it would want to move me to my current location as that would be placing me inside a piece of map geometry which would result in me being stuck
Actually it does work as i have used several times on ground missions.
There are some places where it doesn't work. At least in my experience. One notorious location is... well... Fleet Starbase turbolift. You happen to get stuck in the wall... /stuck doesn't work and it suggests beaming up... which you can't do as you're not on the transporter pad. Only way to fix it is pretty much either just keep bouncing between decks until it spits you out of the wall or relog.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Try this:
1. Type /stuck. Watch your position shift slightly.
2. Don't move and type /stuck again. You get an error message.
Why do you get an error message the second time? I think it's because you're standing in the exact spot that the command wants to send you to.

You should not expect any answer that way.
Sorry it happened to you, but having a feature only to say the feature doesn't work. That is hilarious!

How is the title misleading exactly?
