The planet has apparently changed in appearance. There's oceans and tropical biomes on Nimbus III now? I thought this planet was supposed to be a desert.
Is this some scheme to try and get me to fly all the way to Nimbus III?
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
Is this some scheme to try and get me to fly all the way to Nimbus III?

Did you know that if you type "gullible" in the chat window the game engine will give you 1 iconian rep mark? It's a little easter egg put in by the devs.

Hey guys, I have heard that if you finish tour the galaxy daily exactly 5,72 times the server will grant you 572 master keys for your efforts. I can confirm this and lag seems to disappear after that too, had totaly lagless ISA today!!
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.

Actually it would make sense. Putting aside any issues with Final Frontier for the moment, Nimbus III was the 'Planet of Galactic Peace', a thing that the UFP, Klingon Empire and Romulan Star Empire agreed to have it be a place of neutrality and peace, including cooperation and terraforming the place.
Now of course we know what happened to it after that. But I don't think it would be too far-fetched for someone from all three powers now to look at it and say, 'Hmm, y'know, we shouldn't give up on this.'
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.
On a serious note, Nimbus III has great potential for another battlezone, all those different areas just scream for it. Sadly though, it's just another area where most of us rush through in order to finish the nimbus story arc.

Open water on the desert planet will kill the Sandworms and cut off supplies of Spice!

I've actually gone from level 26/27 to level 41 by doing nothing but Nimbus III & the middle two Drozana missions. It works fine as it is and shouldn't be changed.

Actually... Alaellh (or however it's spelled) worms don't seem to mind temperate environments. You can find them in the jungley part of the Dyson ground BZ too.

If you delete your system32 folder it corrupts the STO directory and flags your account to receive all lockbox ships for free.
True story bro.
I got a Ferasan Tactical Destroyer [T6] by doing so.
Beagle-man confirms it is a troll thread.
Lol no... the op is right. Nimbus has changed. It's now 60% water.

Humans and aliens, wrapped in two million, five hundred thousand tons of spinning metal . . . all alone in the night.
It can be a dangerous place, but it's our last best hope for peace.
