Since sunday afternoon, I have been unable to actually play STO at all. I can log in, but any attempt to move from my location in sector space is either immediately reverted to previous starting position; or allowed to travel across an entire quadrant of sector space before reverting back to login position again anyways. When attempting to use transwarp I get a [Map Transfer Failed] notification. Doff menus, and Reputation assignments work; and there is no [Server not Responding...] message as there usually is in these situations.
My fleet friends in TS have told me to just wait and hope the server is fixed soon, but after two days I've become a little impatient and felt that reporting this issue was required.
I may have to accept that; but making this post at least tells me I didn't sit and do nothing. I've taken the only steps I can to solve my problem; so now I find something else to occupy my free time til STO is playable agian.
The insane LAG is quickly removing the pleasure of playing the game. Does Arcgames even care? They will not even announce that they are aware of the issue and are currently doing their best to rectify.
No, nothing! We all know you guys are rich due to us paying for lifetime memberships, monthly subscriptions, keys, ships and mostly everything in the C-Store.
Quick to introduce the new Pilot ship and its consoles. I can't imagine purchasing the gorgeous ship just to have it do the space jig in the middle of a PVE, then have the login server crash and boot you off. Hoping to God that you return to the same spot or will I have to redo everything.
Come on guys, you get enough money from us to get all T1 lines and a warehouse of server farms.
We cannot buy keys and buy ships and buy things from the C-Store if we cannot login and stay logged in longer enough to get to actually play the game.
Very very disappointed that I cannot depend on being able to relax after a day at work and enjoy a few hours playing my favorite game.
