romulan rep

on my new D.R. toon i encountered a bug while on new romulas you cant do any of the missions in the stageing area. [ no glowing consoles of the little insects nore can you "talk" to the suspicios romulan]

    I believe you have to be lvl 50 to do the New Romulus ground,... so not a bug.

    As an alternative, run Azure Nebula Rescue once a day until you hit 50. Even the easy mode, with the daily bonus marks if its your first Rom Mark event of the "day", gives like 65 or so Rom marks.

    When I was leveling my Rom, pre-DR, I ran ANR for like a week to build up a surplus of Rom marks before actually starting the rep,... if you get ahead of it, and dont forget, getting marks for Rom rep is simple.

    At 65/day,... you have 5 left over from a full days rep assuming you do the two 1 hour missions, in addition to the 20hr one,...

    SO basically, wait a day or two if you've done any Rom mark patrols or runs,... then first thing when logging on, do ANR for like a week,... then start doing the rep. Youll have enough Rom marks built up that if you miss a day here and there, you wont be out of marks with reps to run,...

    It worked just fine on my DR. Did you talk to the Romulan contact near the transporter platform first?

    The allied contact in the beginning only gives you a wrapper mission that tells you to go help various Romulan officers in different areas of the map, you have to talk to those Romulans to actually get the missions that tell you what to do.

    IIRC you don't get the option to go to New Romulus staging area till you reach lvl 50.

    In addition to what the others said, there seems to be a 3 - 5 sec delay before interactions pop up. It's really bad in the NR zones and also in Dyson BZ.

    yep i talked to ppl and i waited and still nothing...
