So with the recent batches of stf's they're full of it.

Cut scenes also include warping scenes. Basically anything that removes the control/gameplay.

Do you enjoy cutscenes in stf's?

    Yes, No, or not sure?

I dislike them a LOT, so no I don't like them.

    Two things.

One, they're generally a technical necessity to mask a technical need like a big map change.

Two, people used to start playing without letting people read dialogue, which isn't very new player friendly.

The queues will be dead not because of cutscenes, but because of powerboards, sandcastles and jetpacks.

Queues will be dead because of free t6 ship, bikinis, danceball trolling, and birds/monkeys rewarding more marks than the queues.

    In episodes, yes.
    In queues, No.
They're not really gone, as long as we remember them

The only cutscenes I actually like are those in the very beginning, where the objective or theme is explained. Mid-action cutscenes are actually somewhat annoying, although they do help with storytelling a bit.

Cutscenes only become unforgivable when I can't cancel them by pressing esc. Thankfully, that kind of cutscene rarely surfaces anymore.

Short but unskipable, I hate having those to tell me that my teammates have managed to click the buttons, especially as they assume I want to holster my gun and stand like a zombie in the middle of a damn fire fight. Sick of getting killed watching that rubbish...

    BSA-Cutscenes are skipable with escape.

I usually don't mind the cut scenes in missions or stfs, as long as they are at the start, end, or during a significant break in combat.

I think it's fine when cut scenes are used to signify a shift in the mission objectives - like the one that plays during the Mirror Universe Invasion, separating the closing rift part and the dreadnaught fight.

What really aggravates me, is cut scenes in missions and stfs that take me out of the action, only to throw me back in immediately afterwards.

I always find it a little frustrating to line up for an attack run on an enemy ship, pop all my skills and have a cut scene play. When it's over all my skills are on cooldown and the ship I was targeting is long gone. I'm also usualy dead or missing a large chunk of health afterwards too.

I also seem to remember dying a lot during "Boldly They Rode" due to that cut scene mid battle. Don't think I'll ever forgive Shon for showing up with the Enterprise, telling me he'll back me up, and then doing nothing as I reappear in the center of 20 Jem'Hadar ships all focusing their fire on me.

Sick to death of seeing them, and the "pop up bridge officer reports" that can get you stuck in exploding cubes.

We need an option of "never show this message again" for "boff pop ups", at the very least.

Cut scenes id say the same for too as well.

I dislike all cutscenes in STO.

    - They feel tacked on.
    - The voiceovers are generally bad.
    - They can't be skipped in most cases.
    - They have bugs in regards to uniforms and weapons my character has.
    - They force the story to move in a specific direction regardless of how well I was doing.

Cutscenes is why I won't level a new Fed character. Too many of them in the tutorial.

I like them as long as I'm not in the middle of fighting something. I hate coming back to find I'm dead, nearly dead or wasted a power. Same holds for NPC dialog windows popping up because the objective is completed but the fight is still active (that's mainly a PVE story complaint though).

Brotherhood is fine because they clear away the enemy while showing you the custscene. Plus they are very short. I haven't had a chance to do the other 2 yet so I can't comment on those.
