See, it's a split opinion. Though in many of the posts that I've seen seem to prefer lighting it up more, but I'm sure that those who prefer the darkness aren't as vocal and are simply in the game enjoying it (or b*tching about something else )
So the possibility with an addition of a menu ambient slider to adjust its level or a button that checkmarks "Sector Space Ambient On/Off"
Really enjoying the new encounter system in the sector space, very nice.
Just to keep this thread alive and being the kid in the backseat of the car constantly pestering everybody with the question: ARE WE THERE YET 😈 . When Can We see A fix for the missing warp streaks in sector space oh grand chief af all awsome mr. Tacofangs sir 😊
Adding some info that might help for trouble shooting:
Yesterday, I've noticed that flying at full impulse inside the Solanae Dyson Sphere produces very pronounced warp streaks even though it shouldn't produce any at all.
I never noticed those before, at least not that extreme.
Not sure if this helps pinpointing the issue but i thought it was worth mentioning.
Edit: Nevermind. I just checked some season nine footage on YT. Apparrently they always looked like this in there. I probably just noticed this now, because of the contrast of them being gone in Sector Space.

Is that really necessary?
The fix has been checked in. I don't know when it will make it out.
